Installed two of these in E46 BMW 3 series with Eonon head units. They are great. Very good image quality. Here are some tips to help an any car, but this is specific to the E46.On the second car I pulled the wiring forward to the head unit. It was much easier than head unit back. I mounted the camera above the license plate on the left side, then pulled the wiring to the front from there. You must remove the panels from the trunk lid, the third brake light and pull the wire down to the trunk on the passenger side and then up to the radio through the sill and over the glove box. (This may be different for non-convertible cars). The sill trim on the door was very hard to get off. It pushes forward and then you can lift it. (You may choose to tuck the wire up in the door sill and not remove the sill. I mostly recommend this. Pulling the sill is tough and almost always damages the mounts.)The glove box also needs to be removed. It's like 8 screws. The back seat must come out to allow the wire to fish along the battery cables. The backup camera is a good 3-plus hours, but again, well worth it. You will not need to wire anything in the trunk other than the plugs. The power, ground are not needed. I cut them and wrapped the ends with electrical tape. There is a power reverse cable at the head unit. This and the other plug-in will support and power and video to and from the camera. There is no forward ground.Again, this is not for the faint hearted. If you work on BMWs, then you will have all the tools you need. Torx of course and a fish line will help. Take your time and enjoy the install!

Easy install for my 2007 bmw 328 with aftermarket radio. Very sleek looking and not a giant to help not look entirely out of place on the car. Didn't have any issues with connectivity on the radio.

Installed head unit and rear camera on E90 With Canbus. I installed it per instructions, and the camera would not work correctly; it initially gave an image that was skipping and not applicable. Be ready - the backup camera installation takes about three hours, running a wire from front to back. You must remove the trim, back seat, and truck soundproofing. Beware – YOU DO NOT NEED TO WIRE ANYTHING IN THE TRUNK; PLUG THE CAMERA IN. DO NOT connect the ground and reverse power to the rear backup lamps! There is a power reverse cable at the head unit. This and the other plug-in will support power and video to and from the camera. There is no forward ground. Customer and tech support were not helpful with this. I had to figure it out myself. Hopefully, this will help someone else out. Otherwise, the head unit is worth the buy. Instructions are poor at best.

Seems to work fine, better than the other one I tried first. Isn’t overly clear, but it does work.

Installed on a Mazda 3 with an eonon head unit and provides a nice sharp image. Can't comment on long-term durability yet but working well for the first few days.

Great product. Instructions are good except they should indicate that if you’re hooking to an eonin system you don’t have to hook to reverse light power.

Got this for free with a car stereo purchase , almost wasn't going to go through the hassle of installing but glad I did . Clear image with no lag , has survived the Canadian winter thus far , haven't used it at night but I'm sure it works fine with my license plate lights being right there .

I believe i was given a faulty unit. Seller never returned any messages when i brought up the reverse camera not working. Head unit works fine however this came with (assuming a break in internal wiring)
