СALIBRATION
Each of our units comes pre-calibrated and has undergone thorough, multiple key-point inspections from the factory. The calibration function is also externally accessible to the user.
To calibrate the scale:
1. Long press MODE button until LCD display show CAL and the preset calibration weight ‘200g’.
2. Place 200 g standard weight on the pan.
3. Display will show PASS indicating the scale has been calibrated successfully.
If loading weight is not stable or you abort calibration, the scale will show ‘Err’ and automatically turns off.

I was disappointed in this scale for my purposes, but will try using it for others. I was planning to use it a) in the kitchen to measure ingredients and b) to measure small packages to mail. I am finding that when measuring ingredients in a bowl, you can’t use it if more than a pound. I am sub-measuring ingredients at times. I know this is a Science scale, but I loved that it had a large plate.Looking at the scale itself, I love love that it has a level built in. You look down from the top and align the bubble into the circle. The legs screw in, and are easily adjustable until the scale is balanced and supported. Use “Tare†to zero out the scale if starting with a bowl then adding ingredients to measure. The touch buttons are easy to use, and this scale has so many options for measuring. It measures grams down to hundredths.

Overall, I really like this scale. It is very intuitive and easy to use, even without consulting the instructions. Based on me weighing coins, it is accurate. The only rooms for improvement are that it is a bit larger than your average kitchen scale and that it is very easy to bump the platform off of it.

Likes:I got this scale to use in a science classroom. It seems fairly durable with students. Students should find it to be easy to use. It is small enough to store easily in a cabinet, but can handle larger glassware. I like the options for weighing. It is nice that, if needed, the user can recalibrate the scale. There are lots of options for measurement types beyond just grams, however, I haven't used those settings.Dislikes:For the cost, this is a nice scale, but I have other scales that I use that are just as accurate and cost less. I don't know that I would purchase more of these for student use.

The tare does not work properly. I have disconnect it and restart every time, and this is after the first three uses.

Ho scelto questa bilancia convinto che il prezzo praticamente rispetto alle altre fosse indice di un buon prodotto sottoposto a severi controlli in fabbrica.L‘impressione iniziale mi ha dato ragione in quanto la bilancia era protetta con del polistirolo che ha assicurato un trasporto senza incidenti.Perché deluso?1) La bolla di livellamento è sicuramente stata montata male al punto che anche alzando al massimo i piedini anteriori non sono riuscito a livellare la bolla al centro. La bilancia nel frattempo era visibilmente fuori livello.2) le prove di pesatura hanno purtroppo dato dei valori che si scostavano dal reale in certi casi di oltre 12-14 centesimi di grammo. Dopo un tentativo di calibrazione che tra l‘altro non dovrebbe essere stata necessaria lo scostamento dal reale non è migliorato.Sfortunato io? Per quel prezzo non sono disposto ad accettare questi DIFETTI CHE DOVEVANO ESSERE GIÀ CORRETTI ALLA PRODUZIONE.2 stelle per come si presenta il prodotto e per le due possibilità di alimentazione proposte.RESTITUITA
