I bought these to mock up a design I was working on that had gears and Idlers so that I could get my dimensions right without buying the full length rods that I would eventually use. Since then, I've found several things that they're handy for around the shop.

They worked perfectly for my project. I used them with 8mm id bearings and they fit very well.

The first batch I ordered turned about to be better than expected. Good clean, smooth finish. They fit my 608zz bearings perfectly... so much so that I ordered a 2nd batch, and am now considering my 3rd.

These measure 8mm X ~102mm, not 100mm. I ended up having to revise my design to use them. They also were not uniformly 8mm; one of them was slightly larger at one end, which causes it to slide poorly in a bearing. If you need precision, probably look elsewhere. In the end I was able to make them work.

WARNING. These rods are over-sized and will not fit into a 608 bearing.or any of the various pulleys I am using. A quality control issue?
