Installed on my 2010 VW cc. I was trying to resolve this parking brake error on the dash. All I had to do was to purchase this piece and substitute it with the original. The original parking brake button had the internal LED light not working anymore that is why it was giving me the error on the dashboard. This 5$ push-button saved me around 150$ from the mechanic Talking about Hawaii price. Is still working after 5 months of installing with no issues. If you don't know what you are doing consult your mechanic, brakes are very important on a vehicle!
