Had a bad feedback hum coming from my Schitt Loki Mini Plus to my Marantz SR7015and purchased new RCA cables from Amazon and that helped about 76%. But the audiophilein me was intentionally trying to hear it and not hear it. I had already invested enough to want and deserve close to perfection. So at 10 bucks to scratch the itch I gave it a shot. Who Knew? This $10 bargain could solve my woes.ZERO and I mean Zero distortion no hum or hiss. The sound stage seems more transparent and airy.I have over 5K into my system and this little thing is the bees knees. Lol, Bee's without the hum!

This isolator passes audio through it just fine unless that audio is line level or some other high impedance source. I could definitely hear coloration in the sound. It seemed like it was applying a bandpass filter I was cutting out the highs and the lows or one of them, I couldn't quite tell. It will work fine if you're trying to isolate a strong high voltage source like coming from the back of an aftermarket deck but don't use it online level as that is a high impedance signal and this converter will turn into a filter, a very undesired filter.

I put in a BOSS Audio Systems R1002 Riot booster and works great but engine noise was very bad. I ordered this noise filter and all I can say is wow. 0.00 noise now. With engine running you do not even know stereo is on.

Do not buy, installed they reduced the hum, but they block frequency’s that go to your speakers making them sound dull

I started off trying a different brand that removed the noise at normal volume, but at really low or no volume you could still hear it. I bought two of these and installed the first one on input to my EQ and it completely removed the noise at all volumes, so I didn’t even need the second one.
