Took a while as the units were shipped from China. I have used this unit on other installations and found it to be a good bargain and reasonable for installation. Would like to see a similar unit with a tuner built in. Piezo element works fine and I'm pleased with the overall sound I'm getting from my builds with this as a economic compromise to the more espensive LR Baggs units.

The pickup and preamp were delivered on time as promised. The parts fitted straight into my cheap Ovation acoustic and they work very well. Sound reproduction through my acoustic amp is good. The preamp mounting curve is designed to be fitted to the upper bout of a right hand guitar or the lower bout of a left hand guitar but I found that it still fitted ok to the lower bout of my right hand guitar. (This leaves the controls facing the correct way toward the player).

Installed this pickup myself seven years ago because it was all I could afford on my cheap thin body guitar. Played with it in a band and the sound engineer had it dialed in perfect and it sounded good. The battery door latch failed and I had to tape it shut but it still worked. I moved on to a more expensive guitar for a few years but recently brought my old guitar to a professional luthier for new strings and to tighten the truss rod but found this old pickup had failed. Surprisingly Amazon was still selling this one so I ordered it and he installed it and said he was surprised at the quality of sound it produced which was almost as good the expensive ones sold at the music store

This product ruined my guitar no template for cutting so I made my own requires cutting and modifying your bridge for the piezzo in my case I had to replace my bridge as it broke trying to file it in the end it looks terrible doesn’t fit right and sounds terrible too why I ruined a perfectly good Yamaha guitar for this $14 piece of junk is really my own fault. Don’t be like me.

Battery cover was missing from the package, luckily I was able to find one at home. Pick up works well, but still a little disappointed in the missing cover.

The exact model that came fitted into the Martin (Sigma) TB-1B. Came with extra pickup (a very happy surprise), installation screws and output jack with optional 3M-style sticky pad to attach the output jack to the end of your guitar if you cannot install normally.Came professionally packaged in perfect condition. Installed in minutes and worked perfectly.

This unit really works well as reviewed by most reviewer. I just connected it to my home A/V receiver unit. It is easy to install as long as you have the basic knowledge on how it will work into your guitar. It just need little patience and steady hands to do the cut-out and hole in the guitar for the unit and jack to be installed.

Vom Preis her muss ich schon mal sagen, das man hier nicht viel verkehrt machen kann. Der Klang ist völlig ausreichend, und dem Preis entsprechend gut. Toll finde ich auch die zusätzliche einstellfunktion "Mittelton". Bitte achtet aber auf die wellenförmige Biegung dieses Moduls. Wer schon ein Loch in seiner gitarre hat, ärgert sich eventuell über die falsche Form.
