I’ve had these for 5 years, cutting my own hair at home. They’ve been amazing scissors the whole time. I do think it may be time for a new pair just because I think 5 years is a lot to ask out of a set like this. But if that evens out to about $5 a year or $1 a cut. Well worth it & well made

These grooming clippers (scissors) are fantastic!!!I decided to buy some new clippers. I am not a professional groomer, but use them on my pups. I now realize how bad my old clippers were.Each piece is a nice, heavier weight. I am left-handed and was concerned about whether that would be an issue. Nope, not at all.They cut really nice too (this was the main problem with my old ones). I tried them on the dogs and they are sharp and have a nice even cut.I didn't realize how bad my last clippers were until I got these. And, a really nice plus...these were less expensive than the other ones. The case is wonderful as well.I highly recommend this set.

We purchased these to groom our dog at home and they were amazing during the first month, it was sharp and cut through his thick curly hair on the first clip and the balls on the tip were great and gave us a bit more peace of mind that we wouldn't accidentally poke him with something sharp. However, after the first couple of months, it started to grow dull and you really need to angle it to find that perfect cut. It still does it's job though but we've had to order a second pair after the fourth month or so because it just started to get really annoying. Decent though will probably have to find a better pair after this next one wears down.

These are really nice - my second set. They stay sharp a long time. Very comfortable in the hand. Fantastic price.

Although the Equinox Hair Scissor Set is not "top of the line" they are high quality. The scissors are very sharp and leave a clean cut. If you are not a professional stylist these scissors are all you need. However, they are not made for big hands.

The straight scissors in this inexpensive set are outstanding. Years ago, you could buy them separately, without the rather useless thinning scissors. The "straights" are lightweight, well-balanced, and comfortable for the average adult hand, and they cut all types of hair flawlessly. They are far superior to the pricier Equinox "Razor Edge Series" scissors.

Scissors are far from razor sharp. I bought these to cut my son's hair and they do not cut through hair in a single action no matter how much the tension is adjusted. Compared to the reasonably good pair of hairdressing scissors these are blunt.

Lovely heavy, well balanced professional scissors. I was a master stylist in the 80s and 90s and I would have used these as part of my scissor toolkit.The only issue I have is that the blades are slightly bowed, but for home use they are amazing. Blades are razor sharp and adjustable for tightness.For the money spent they’re EXCELLENT. Don’t hesitate. Grab them now.
