Your cart is empty.The Squids 3791 Locking Collar with Tool Attachment Point installs onto connecting, sleever and wrecking bars to create a retrofit attachment point for tethering tools up to 7lbs // 3.2kg, preventing dropped or falling objects from occurring on the job. Connection points for tool lanyards can be tricky to find, especially on connecting, sleever and wrecking bars with no captive holes. While working at-heights, it is important to tether tools as part of your overall fall protection plan, but the lack of these connection points can make that difficult. STRAIGHTFORWARD INSTALLATION To install, slide the locking collar onto a connecting, sleever or wrecking bar and use the included hex key to tighten the dual set screws to secure into place. Built with strong galvanized steel, this durable locking collar is corrosion-resistant in extreme environments. The locking collar allows the bar to be safely holstered by providing a catchpoint when stored on a tool belt and when working at heights. The collar features a swiveling connection point in the middle for tethering and prevents tangles and binds when used with a lanyard. This tool attachment portion of the locking collar can be removed and the tool collar can be used solely for proper holstering. TESTED TO BE TRUSTED This tool tether attachment is built to withstand defined weight limits and can easily be used by any worker to help avoid accidentally dropping objects that could cause damage, injuries or possibly death. These attachments are third-party certified to 7lbs // 3.2kg maximum capacity and meet the ANSI/ISEA 121-2018 standard with all required markings. Ideal for those working the iron/steel trades and tethering tools in construction, telecommunications, oil and gas, power generation, utilities, wind energy, manufacturing or other jobsites where dropped objects are a risk. This locking collar is compatible with straight-shafted round or hex connecting, sleever and wrecking bars ranging from 3/4” // 1.9cm and 7/8” // 2.2cm in diameter. I love the idea of this product. However the 3/4†swivel appears to have a 7/8†hole, leaving a 1/8†gap under the set screws when fit up on my 3/4†sleever bar.While the product is still completely functional, seems extremely rigid and solid, it looks tacky and unprofessional. Lots of dirt and grime will be caught up in this gigantic gap and I would much prefer this gap be significantly tighter. No more than .010†gap is needed to slide it on the bar (already undersized from 3/4†by .016â€) and the product clearly says the collar is 3/4â€.It’s just very strange that this product would be manufactured and sold in such a way.I also bought two on accident, both were the same and both stamped 3/4â€.I will gladly accept a replacement and change my review for a product that has better fit up.That being said, if you have a 7/8 sleever bar, buy the 3/4†swivel collar. It should fit perfectly, and be worthy of an outstanding 5 stars.

Easy to use, fits great, and the swivel ring with the shackle to tether onto is a nice bonus. Highly recommend
