A good portion was pre assembled. Directions not great but the YouTube video QR code included with paperwork was helpful with remaining assembly. Seat is pretty hard so am ordering a cushion for extra softness.

The chair works fine and is comfortable. Assembly is a nightmare because the bolts are not named and unless you have a tape measure in millimeters it is hard to tell them apart. If I had known the pain in assembling I wouldn't have ordered. The instructions are in Chinese and broken English. There is a video but man that saved me but it was not easy.

It took longer than it should have to assemble because the instructions were horrible. The parts need to be labeled properly and if you watch the video, you realize that much of the chair is already assembled. I would not recommend it simply because of the assembly. Also, using the backrest simultaneously as the knee rest is impossible with this.

I got this at the office as an experiment. I have pretty bad ADHD and slide right out of big office chairs.I have been using it for about 2 months at work.I'm generally pretty jappy with it and i think i would be less happy with some of the alternative kneeling chairs out there.I ordered a different kind the other day and disliked it enough to disassemble and return. Now I'm ordering this one again because I don't see any others on amazon with knee pads as adjustable as this. What is did not expect:-angle adjustable knee pad is the most important part. Sometimes i want to sit 'normally' and by adjusting the pad i can move it out of the way when i want. I can't do that with any other kneeling chair I've seen around.-sometimes i have the knee pad vertical to act like a comfortable stopper for my legs. No more sliding out.-The back rest is poor quality. It rattles and shakes and it is already falling apart even though i don't use it a lot. I'll try super glue i guess.-the rest of the chair, despite the low price tag is sturdy as a rock. It needs a can of wd-40 or some rubber separators, but its very sturdy.Today I've ordered a second one to replace my gaming chair at home. :)UPDATE: i got my second one. They've clearly iterated on the design. No more creaking except the back rest. So now i would say its great and the only failing point of this chair is the backrest for a few reasons. Most of this chair is really solid but the backrest is weirdly shoddy. Wobbly in its assembled axis(i padded it with tissues to fix that) and all of my back pressure pushes into the top plastic rather than the middle of the mesh. I throw a hoodie over it to soften the blunt side. And I'm still pretty sure the mesh will fall out in a few months like my other so i think I'll look at DIYing a replacement cushion. Still everything else is very worked out now.Edit 2: its a year or so later now. Not sure of the exact time. I am a 200 lb muscular man, recently I've had an issue where a loud kerchunk noise could be heard and after taking a look it turns out that the screw used to adjust the angle of the seat has destroyed itself. You can see in the image I posted with this. So I no longer have angle adjustment at least not in an easy way, I may need to add the bolt with washers to whatever height I like. If the company developing these wants some feedback I'll also offer that a simple plastic cover(i literally wrapped the axle in some plastic bags from the box this came in) for the backrest's axle will eliminate the noise problem and rattle as that is what i do now.

Love the idea of handles, adjustable seat angle, and foot rests; probably some of the best concept designs, and the main reason I chose this chair. Also the fact that it had a back. My reasons for a low rating, and returning the chair would be that the seat part does not come up enough height wise to effectively take the pressure and weight off of your butt, which was the main reason I wanted it. The angle from the butt to the knee pads is not conducive to the purpose of the chair. The hydrolic pump is not big/tall enough to get the right angle for the butt and knees. But and knee pads are very nice and squishy, would probably be useful for quite a while. The back of the chair, very good idea I think poorly applied and not the greatest adjustment levels that would help with posture etc. Wheels are not good at all, very hard to roll around. And if you lift the seat up and lean back to far or something, the whole thing will tip over backwards on you.I have a spinal condition so it might not be as bad for someone else, however it does not help my back at. all. I'm honestly very sad to return this chair.

I love the chair but it took longer than usual to assemble. The directions were awful. I could tell someone tried before and returned it. I have a handful of washers and they don’t ever show on the itemized inventory list

For use occasionally this is ok. But it's poorly constructed

My husband loves this chair. I am not a fan, I just like regular chairs. The uses this as his desk chair. It was not easy to put together. The directions did not look like they were for this chair. We watched the video on it. There was a lot of rewinding. He's happy with the final result.

As others have said directions are a nightmare. The video link is a completely different order than the home laserjet printed instructions in the box. Terrible labeling on the hardware. Others have said someone tried to assemble and sent it back, I am beginning the think somebody realised how bad the instructions are and tried to assemble the hardest parts before shipping for us. In short the assembly experience was poor.I really like the design and am hoping it won't break. The welds seem a bit questionable and I dunno if they are fibbing on the weight limit. This uses screw in casters not traditional pop-in chair coasters so I couldn't upgrade the wheels like I usually like.So far the design is top notch. Angle adjustably on the seat, kneepads and lumbar support is excellent (hoping the hardware holds) adjustability for shin length on the foot pads is doable but a will need tools and time. Make bolts where the two main pieces meet are tied to height. I'd pay careful attention and test options here to ensure you get the correct fit. Once you do it will feel very comfy.
