These are perfect! Heavy duty quality. For decades, I have been hanging canvas hammocks for our primates with cable ties. As arthritis severely limited my range of motion, preventing use of my left arm, it was almost impossible to affix cable ties to the hammocks and attach the cable ties to the cage ceilings. The solution: these perfect snap hooks! No exasperating fumbling with cable ties which of†en took at least ten minutes to attach even one of them. Changing fresh hammocks is now a "snap!"

Excellent snaps to hold water buckets they feel soft, no sharp edges and are larger than the typical hardware snaps. Highly recommend.

These are NOT steel or wrought iron, they are die-cast zinc. That's the only thing keeping them from being 5-star. They will not hold a horse, cow, or Great Dane. But they are sturdier than most, nicely finished, and work smoothly several times a day opening and closing lambing pens made of horse panels. If you do this kind of stuff you will find a lot of uses for these, they are the best ones that I have found since the steel ones went away.

I used this at the end of our dog's outdoor leash. I was surprised by how sturdy it has been; we have no issues with it. Anyone with a dog leash knows they do not hold up to the elements well in the winter, but this has been extremely dependable. I will likely purchase more for other needs.
