Just got back from northern Wisconsin and was drilling through 14” of ice. It worked great.

Bought this auger last week and used it for the first time yesterday. This thing is an absolutely beast. I had a milwaukee m18 drill without a stabilizing handle. I just used my forearm and body to stabilize. This auger flew threw 12" of wisconsin ice without a problem. Drilled 5 holes with it. The 5th hole was as fast as the 1st. Took less than a minute per hole. Very happy with this purchase.

Used a handful of different augers and adapters but this is by far the best. I use it with a Dewalt DCD1007 and it's the fastest, smoothest cut I've seen. The amount of people I've met on the ice, just because they want to ask about the auger, is astonishing. Amazing

This thing has been absolutely killing it. Super light and hammering through some serious Adirondack ice!

Love this auger, cuts faster than any of my buddies augers. Takes a bit to get the Drill set correctly the first time you use it. Auger bit gets a tad stripped. Other than that, have had no problems with it. Still sharp after several years of heavy use. Plus it comes with an extra blade I believe. I was skeptical about the plastic fins, but they have held up great so far and makes it much lighter.

Works great! When using a 2a battery (underpowered per Eskimo) with the 20V Hercules Harbor Freight brushless drill it will work, just stops every once in a while. Definitely needs the 4a or higher, but can drill at least 12 holes in really thick ice before the 2a battery dies. I also accidentally found a sand bar instead of water second time using it after easily going through 2' of ice. Could not drill another hole. Dulled blades. Ordered replacements from Eskimo direct, as I wanted the center tip too and could only find it through them. Ordered on a Monday, came in the mail on Friday and had me out there again that weekend. Good stuff!

I bought this back in 2021. Didn't use it for about 3 years. It would not cut any ice. I called eskimo and they replace the blades for free. What a difference it will just eat through the ice like butter. Lightweight, easy to use. Be careful with your wrists.

Bought this to use as a secondary auger to my Eskimo Z51 10". However after going out multiple times I don't even bring my gas auger anymore. This thing eats through ice and is super light. I use my Milwaukee 2803-20 brushless drill. Just remember to keep those batteries warm. The drill and flight are under 10lbs together, compared to my gas auger which is around 40lbs, plus the need for pre-mix fuel.

I was so excited to get this auger and went out to drill my first hole. It literally wouldn't cut into the ice with all my weight on it. I was so disappointed. I came home and checked other reviews on here and another person mentioned the same issue and that they changed their blades with the spare set and it cut fine after that. I did exactly that and now it cuts like a champ. I noticed the spare set of blades had a model number stamped on them and the ones that came mounted didn't have any kind of stamp on them. It's frustrating as I thought I had a spare set of blades, but one set is obviously defective.

Pretty slick actually. Nice and light. Make sure use good drill and chuck is tightened securely.
