The lids and they way the pans heats up. It is not in one spot, but the whole pan bottom.

In an effort to clear our home of unhealthy cookware, we tried two of this brand previously. We were so pleased that we ordered the pan in this smaller size. Just perfect for two eggs. We do use a tad of butter or oil, but probably don't even need that. The pans clean beautifully. The lids are domed, fit snugly , and I love the wooden handles. They grab comfortably and firmly. And remain cool throughout. A well shaped wooden urensil is included.

I only use these pans when the meal I am cooking does not need to be covered. The lids and handles come seperate and you need to screw them into the glass lid yourself. The directions to do so were clear however the handles would not stay on. No matter how many times I tried, I could not get the handles to stay on the lid (and I would say I am a pretty handy person).

This little skillet is excellent. It cooks so evenly nothing sticks. I have one problem with it. The handle is either too long or too heavy when you set the pan on the stove and there’s nothing in it. It falls over to the handle handle is too big too long too heavy to something I don’t know what That is my only complaint.

five weeks after purchase this fry pan has a big scratch on it and is discolored … despite cleaning it by hand, using a kitchen sponge. My window to return it closed just days ago - or i would return it
