About this item

  • This Suppressor Frame Kit in Terrain Tan is for use with ear cup hearing protection and communications devices
  • The Suppressor Frame Kit converts any Crossbow or Crosshair eyeshield into an ear-cup-optimized ballistic eyeshield
  • Suppressor frames are compatible with all Crossbow and Crosshair lenses

This Suppressor Frame Kit in Terrain Tan is for use with ear cup hearing protection and communications devices. The Suppressor Frame Kit converts any Crossbow or Crosshair eyeshield into an ear-cup-optimized ballistic eyeshield. The ultra-thin, Suppressor frames feature Z-Bend Geometry. These slim, pliable temple arms minimize the effect on the padded seal of ear cups to keep out noise, and eliminate the hot spots and pressure points that commonly occur when normal eyewear is worn under ear cups.

this is the most comfortable when wearing Muff for indoor shooting range. Love it

I was issued a bunch of ESS Crossbow stuff over the years and just happened to stumble on these... absolutely love them. I like that the ear pieces are flat and thin so they don't dig into your head when wearing ear protection, or leave a gap that lets sound in. I have a small head and most glasses are way too big... but these fit me well, and the standard Crossbow lenses work perfectly. I wish this is was they issued in the first place.

ESS has done it again. If you were ear protection these are a must. I find other frames push the ear protection away from your ears allowing sound to seep into the ear. These allow the ear protection to sit more flush. As always I trust my eyes to ESS

If you wear over the ear protection then you MUST have these. The difference in comfort is night and day. Also removes the gap above your ears when wearing regular crossbows and ear pro. These are the THIN suppressor frames. These will most likely not stay on your head if you aren’t using over ear pro. Unless you have the back strap which is not included. These are Not the original crossbow frames. Seems like some got confused by that in other reviews.

I want to love these but the lens corners dont sit flush enough on the sides to my face which makes me worried about flying debris getting in between those openings. Otherwise the tan frames I bought for these lens matched perfectly with the Walkers Razor Slim Electronics I bought. If ESS wants to reach out to me and tell me if they have a similarly priced pair that is more flush to the face I'm interested otherwise I'll just stick the the $5 safety glasses I picked up a Lowe's that should do the trick but they're not anti-fog.

Unlike the other crossbow eyepro, this one has no rubber on the temple part of the glasses (where you place on top of your ear) so it could slide in and out if wearing ear pro.Only issue I have is that, manufacturer forgot to include a rubber nose piece so I ended up using my spare black color nose piece instead.6/10 for the manufacturer8/10 for the product

Love these frames, very nice while wearing electronic hearing protection. Recently went to a 4 day defensive handgun class and a lot of people wanted to know where I got them.

These replacement frames were exactly what I wad looking for. The narrow profile of these frame fits well under a wide variety of hearing protection and are comfortable when worn under a hard hat with cap mounted ear muffs. I have worn them with electronic hearing protectors, folding hearing protectors and a variety of others and have barely noticed the frames were there. These are comfortable enough to wear all day and do not cause discomfort to the wearer. The only small complaint is that due to their low-profile arms, and lack of hook or bend at the ends, they can slip off of your head when you lean forward. The lenses are easily interchanged between the various shades available. I generally switch between the smoke grey and clear lenses depending on lighting conditons, and find them a good mix.

The thin legs on these frames are a welcome upgrade to the regular crossbow frames when using over-ear hearing protection! Much better seal and huge improvement to comfort levels!

These are designed to wear with ear protection. The thinner sides are more comfortable with a headset. The sides are a little shorter than the standard sides so you may have a harder time keeping them on without a headset.
