The sundial was made of slate and was of substantial thickness and weight. I gave it four stars because both the dial and the disc were chipped, but not bad enough to return.

The sundial is beautiful and made of slate but the gnomon is poor quality. It arrived broken then I attempted to crazy glue it but when putting it on the sundial, the fit of the pins weren’t perfect so the other side chipped. Going outside so I’m not too worried but I am disappointed.

This sundial is really sturdy and beautiful. I wish they would have used metal that didn’t rust to hold the two pieces together. The prongs are roughly 1/4 inch long and there are two. Mine rusted in two weeks and then the upright piece leaned sideways. I contacted the seller but got no response.

Kann man weiterempfehlen. Sieht gut aus und macht was her. Muss nur noch einen passenden Sockel dafür überlegen. Funktionieren tut sie auf jeden Fall.
