100% silicone works great on the Pro-Form treadmill belt. No problems with my 4 -1/2 year treadmill belt, but I only walk at a fast pace, no jogging or running.

I recently was given a nice treadmill, when it was used, it soon developed a "lube belt" warning & wouldn't even turn on. I finally found an owner's manual online, it has poor drawings , to show lubing the belt. Some YouTube searching found some helpful videos & I ordered this product. It arrived quickly, was as described. I followed the directions using this product to lube the belt, & it works well. Considered ordering the factory belt lube, but since it was about 4 X more expensive, bought this brand & it has worked well. Doesn't take much to lube the belt..I used about half an ounce to lube the belt on my machine.

So I got a free treadmill and as I was looking at the instructions, it said I needed to lube the belt. Uhmmm, what? I never knew that!Apparently the previous owner didn’t know either because it was completely dry under the belt.This really spreads nicely once applied.I don’t know if it works like this on all treadmills, but mine is also much quieter now.Just don’t add too much - because I did and some dripped out as I walked (I’m glad my treadmill is on wood floor). Although, I don’t know how someone can possibly know exactly how much to use, as there are so many variances in belt lengths and widths.Also, don’t get this on the outside of your belt- one single, small drop makes a large slick spot (again I know from experience).

I have used silicone on my treadmill belt regularly since I have had it - 15 years. This silicone was the easiest to apply of any that I have used over the years. Additionally, it contained just the correct amount for one use. Nothing left over to sit but enough to do the job.

I bought this stuff in a pack of 3 one ounce bottles first and found it did seem very good for my treadmill belt. The little bottles had a good nozzle on them that I attached a short plastic tube to (that I bought from a home depot) so I could deliver the oil across the whole belt rather evenly One one ounce bottle lasted me a couple or 3 months before the machine said "belt friction too high" and I lubed it up again. So I bought the bigger bottle this time and am happy with it. Better price per ounce than the individual bottles and I will use several ounces during the winter months when I use the treadmill more often than in the warmer months.

The bad: The bottle itself (not the contents) is junk. You have to be extraordinarily careful to not squeeze very hard, because if you do the "center" of the opening will just come out of the bottle, and lubricant will spill out everywhere. Considering that you're extending your hand and arm under the belt between it and the deck, from front to rear of the treadmill - it's very very hard to modulate how much you squeeze so as to get lube out but avoid popping the applicator right out of the bottle.The good: The lube itself seems to work well. My treadmill was giving me issues, not having been waxed in quite a while. After using this product, the belt again seems smooth and there is no catching or slipping.

Using this for Air guns, So far My 760 Pumpmaster really likes it, No loss in power even though my gun is easier to pump, I applied this to everything including the trigger group, will update this review if this Oil does not seem 100% silicone and is messing things up, But it seems like 100% silicone Oil as it's even lighter than light mineral oil.*Update* 12/23/2018 I applied this oil to 2 of my pellet guns, 1 a rifle the other a pistol, and spent a large portion of the day shooting, both of my airguns seem to like this oil so far, slight increase in performance, no loss in power even though things are easier to cock and pump, Cleans the residue nicely but also rubs off easily even on plastic, if you want it off it doesn't resist too much. Seems really light on plastic like silicone oil is suppose to be, seems like really good stuff that is light and forgiving, yet viscous. I don't see anything going wrong with my airguns because of this oil in the future. Seems very good for other uses besides Treadmills.
