My skinny kid just turned 5 years old (42 inches tall). For the summer, he is still wearing Cat & Jack 3T T-shirt and Children's Place 4T T-shirt, but this Amazon sweater in size 4-5 is small and won't last him till winter. It looks like it would shrink on the initial wash and the sleeves would just be too short. I would size up. Will be returning and ordering a size up.The quality is thick and nice though. Wish it came in more colors, so I can buy more.

My son likes sweaters and these were on super sale at $6 each. I would say they run pretty true to size to slightly looser.My son is 12 and about 125 and fluffy. The XXL fits him well. They are cotton, medium-light thickness, and very well made. He says they are comfortable sweaters and warm. A total deal at $6!

Bought this sweater for my son for next winter this year. It was on sale so it's value for money, the comfort level is absolutely amazing, it's pretty much warmth like hand knitted old traditional grandma's sweater. For the fit it's not tight or loose just about the same. Quality wise is that it looks expensive when worn. Will buy again

It's good quality, but you will want to buy at least 1 size up. My son is in 5t, but this 5t barely covered his belly button so it might be more like a 3t or 4t. I can't return it anymore because we had some amazing weather and didn't need a sweater all month and now the return window is closed. So be warned, buy 1 or 2 sizes up.
