It is hard to find nice basic chino pants. Based on the Amazon name, I decided to give these a try, half expecting to return them if they weren't quality. To my pleasant surprise they look good, fit well, washed nicely and are a great value. I intend to buy a second pair.

Years ago when Amazon first started offering their own branded clothing line, I had purchased some pants similar to these, and they were awful! They were basic, generic, poor quality, inconsistent sizing -- just a disaster of an offering. I returned them immediately. Skip to now, I needed new pants and am on a tight budget, so in light of all the great reviews on the product I decided to give them another try. These pants are great. Amazon has clearly listened to the customer feedback over years, and has developed a great product at a great price. These look good, are well made, and fit really well. I wouldn't say the sizing is big, but as many others have suggested, it's what I'd call..."generous". They're not too big, but there's plenty of space in the pants to allow movement and be comfortable. If you prefer a slimmer look to your clothes however, I'd certainly recommend ordering a size down.

I now have four pair of these pants, in different colors. I've got a little of a spare tire, but am not fat. However, I do have fairly thick, muscular thighs and a decent butt. Those are the areas where I have trouble fitting, but these pants fit great. They fit my waist perfectly. I think I could even wear them without a belt! But I do appreciate that instead of having one belt loop in the center at the back, these have two, equidistant from the center. So you don't get that crease in your belt like you do when you have just the one loop in the center.The pant legs are NOT tapered. They are not flared or super baggy, but not skinny. I like that.The material is comfortable. It has a little stretch, but doesn't feel like those tight, stretchy pants of which I'm not a fan.The burgundy color is more burgundy than shown in the picture, which I like. The looked too dark in the picture on Amazon. The mushroom color is what I would call a dark khaki.

I guess I should have paid more attention to the description - “classic-fit casual stretch†- rather than the photo. The material is good, the fit in the waist is good (though not very stretchy), but the legs are way too wide. They almost remind me of phat pants they’re so big. If you’re getting pants to wear in an office, these are probably not the ones you should buy. Unless you have disproportionately thick legs. They’re really sloppy with how the leg hangs because of their girth. I personally wouldn’t even get these for casual wear because of how big the legs are, but I prefer slimmer fitting pants generally. But if you like extra wide legs these appear to be a well-made pant.

Great chinos. Great for a big guy in a 40x34. I’m 6’ 6 and 280 and they fit great! Not to dressy but great for every office wear with a polo. Very little shrinkage if any.

I bought these for my husband, who likes them very much. The fabric is good quality, as is the workmanship. Hubs finds them to be comfy and attractive. Will buy a couple of other pairs in different colors.

I have a problem with buying pants online, but that said, I took a chance on these and I could not be more pleased. The fabric - mostly cotton with some stretch material woven in - is supremely comfortable. I don't like non cotton fabrics, so these fit the bill perfectly.They have loosened up a wee bit over two days of wear, but that is not a negative as they seem to now fit even better.Nice slacks; a nice price; comfy and seemingly of good (durable) quality. I'd recommend them.
