I found many things to like about this Amazon Essentials Vest. The most important for me is the “fitâ€. I am 5’-11â€, 165 lbs, on the slim side and the Medium fit me perfectly. It is snug, but not tight. The arm opening is just right and does not bind under the armpit, nor is it too loose and floppy. The shoulder width is also well-proportioned. Length is good, not too long. Seams are well-sewn, zippers work smoothly, side pockets are in the right place for you to put your hands in comfortably and are deep enough; a plus are the two inner pockets. The collar stands up or lays flat (and stays there) ,however you like.The only thing I didn’t like is the color I chose: the gray heather makes the vest look a bit dirty and ready for the wash. Speaking of which, I washed mine before wearing, and it did not shrink (cold water, very low dryer heat).The design is basic, not overly stylish, but I bought mine just to wear around the house. The material is on the thin side, but I didn’t want something too thick, heavy and stiff feeling. It has a nice plush feel, both inside and out, including the zippered pockets and is plenty warm enough for my purpose. I am glad I bought it!

We know Amazon Essential is a bargain/value brand. But this vest was better than expected at this price ($17.43). I needed a vest for my work at a public school, to be worn casually and for warmth during cold days. This vest is comfortable and warm, and the quality while not premium, is very good. It has 2 zippered side pockets and 2 inner pockets for convenience. It fits nicely over my body and looks good too! If you need in inexpensive vest that will give you warmth, then this is a great choice! Recommended!

The material is somewhat thin, and the zippers aren't robust. On the plus side, the pockets are deep and fit is good. Good enough for the price.

This vest is just like the much more expensive brand name vests. It is a very good value. It looks and wears as well as the expensive brand name vests. I am going to buy more in other colors.

I looked at fleece vests from a number of online retailers such as Lands End and LL Bean and even ordered one from Lands End which I wasn't happy with. Then I checked Amazon and found this vest in the Amazon Essentials collection. The price was much better then the big name retailers. It's a warm vest and I'm very happy with my purchase. The only small problem was the sizing. I normally wear a Large but when I received it I couldn't zip it closed so I had to return it for an Extra Large which fits fine. Sizing for men's clothes used to be pretty standard across the board but with everything being made overseas it varies considerably. You may want to keep that in mind if you order one. And yes, I would recommend it.

I have a 34 inch chest and am 5’6†(on a good day).I purchased the extra small and it has a great fit around the chest and the arm holes are the correct size; the only flaw in the fit is unfortunately a big one, it’s way the heck too long! Like, literally 6 inches too long. The center back measurement is 28 1/2 inches and the center front measurement is 22 1/2 inches. The Patagonia product (Men's Synchilla Fleece Vest) that this vest is trying to emulate has a center back measurement of 24 1/4 inches and a Center front measurement of 21 inches for their extra small. This seems to be a constant and continual theme for most all clothing manufactured for smaller framed ladies and gentlemen, like yours truly; it’s too long. The inappropriate length makes it look sloppy and gets in the way when doing outdoor or active activities. If the manufacture would fix the length, this would be a great fitting vest.A few other notes: this is not a super high-quality vest, BUT the price is more or less appropriate for the quality you’ll receive, so you’re not getting massively ripped off or anything (if you want something really high-quality, go pay the high-price for the Patagonia vest this product is modeled after). It’s very comfortable and the material is very thin. This is a light weight vest, for either not super cold weather, or a layer for layering with other clothing in the colder stuff.

Got this today and put it on immediately. Needed something to keep warm since I keep the thermostat low in our cold Michigan winters. This is keeping me warm without added bulk in the arms so I can move about and work easily. Got ax XL so it can be worn over sweaters/sweatshirts. Fits the bill and the pockets are generous-bonus! Ordered two more in different colors. Great price for a quality product.

I am a woman... Since the Amazon Essentials vests for women were gone in my size (M), I decided to give it a try by purchasing a men's vest. I got an M and an S, to see which ones fits best. The M was just right for my husband so he has it now, and I kept the S, that felt like a size M in women's.This vest is not too thick, which I exactly what wanted. It is not too thin, either, and it provides the rigth amount of warmth for wearing it in the house or when running in colder weather.

4 gilets achetés à un super prix car en vente flash (2 en brun chiné, 1 noir et 1 bleu marine). Les gilets sont de qualité, les coutures et finitions sont très bonnes, tout comme les 3 fermetures éclairs (les poches sont aussi zippées). Un premier lavage avant de les porter confirme leur qualité : ils n'ont pas bougé et ont gardé toute leur tenue. Le gilet bleu et le gilet noir semble simplement avoir un tissu légèrement plus épais que le gilet brun chiné. Je recommande ce produit, de bien meilleure qualité que les gilets premier prix que l'on peut trouver dans certains magasins de sport.
