The sweater is fine for the price, with correct fit. Arrived fast. Nice neutral cream/oatmeal color. It has a fairly loose open weave and is predominantly cotton, so it’s quite breathable and well suited for layering in cool but not truly cold weather. The knit is a little coarse, not really scratchy but not very soft. It’s a good value for what they charge. And fine for casual wear. But I ultimately decided to return it and spend a lot more to get a merino wool sweater because they are dressier, much warmer for weight, MUCH softer, and less bulky under a jacket. I like to wear mock turtlenecks under a sport coat in the fall and this sweater was a little too thick for that.

Instantly loved this, the appearance is like a rich wool. The Small size fits me perfectly. I'm 5'4", 145 lbs, BMI 25, chest 39", waist 36", neck 16", in case that helps others. If I went by their sizing chart I should be a Medium or Large, so I am glad I took the chance and ordered Small. Can't wait to wear this with a sports jacket.

After ordering and returning women's sweaters, which were either to cheap looking or the red was not what was posted on the site, I finally ordered this men's X-Small red sweater from Amazon's Essentials and it was the perfect fit and color. Really liked this jumper. Been agonising for ages over buying one as I have deep The Cruel Sea and Sink The Bismarck daydreams, but was deterred by the prices asked for these products.This was under a fifth of the prices of the ads I got bombarded with yet it's warm, comfortable with a tight weave that means it resists the wind & allows you to wear it coat open. Really comfyLove it

This is so very comfortables I think I have bought 5 of them in black and grey. I wish the other colours would come in 2 XL. They are warm and that is what one needs on the cold Melbourne day or eveing. They work wewll with jeanss or can be worn with more dressy slacks.
