High quality textile construction all the way around. Very soft 97% cotton and 3% spandex for a little stretch. Best of all, I have a slim build, and these "trim fit" pants fit me close to perfect--form fitting from top to bottom without any compression. Part of that is because these come in even AND odd waist sizes. I bought both size 30 and 29. I usually have to buy 30 in most brands because there is no 29. The 30 fit me better than most of my pants, but required a belt cinched up a bit. My wife said they looked great on me. But then I put on the 29 waist, and the fit was even better. The 29 fits my legs and seat perfectly, tapering to the ankle, with just a little extra room in the waist so that I will probably wear a belt. This is the way pants should be. Why in this day and age of super-efficient and super-cheap textile manufacturing do most brands still use 2" variation in waist and length sizing baffles me. I guess that's the advantage an internet-only retailer has. Thank you Amazon for carrying the expanded sizing selection! And the great quality!

The material quality is great, it’s soft but breathable, the material thickness isn’t to thin but also isn’t thick and heavy. The zipper quality is good and I’m super impressed with the size . I’m a bigger guy with a gut but short and this is by far the best pair of pants. I’ve bought 3 pairs and plan to buy more. They can be dressed up or down depending on where you’re going that day.

I'm not a man, but a short woman and these pants fit well. Women's cargo pants are ridiculously constructed with inefficiently small, misplaced pockets so I always buy my cargo pants from the men's department. Another plus is that these pants came in a short inseam length (28") which means I did not have to hem them. The fabric of these pants is very soft which made for comfortable wear, but depending on usage, may not hold up as well as the thicker, stiffer fabric available on other brands. I've worn them for fossil hunting and they held up well for me while climbing and sliding around around rocky outcroppings with no rips or holes. They washed well and I didn't notice any shrinkage. I would definitely buy these again.
