I couldn't be happier with this locket. The Made in the USA quality is evident in the engraving on the front, the quality of the hinge and hidden locking mechanism. You don't have to worry about this popping open. I did find it a little difficult to open and close the first couple of times but now that it's "broken in," it works perfectly. The rhodium plating gives is a beautiful luster and should help prevent tarnishing for a long time. The locket is lighter than expected but that doesn't detract from the quality of the piece. The chain that accompanied it was a very pleasant surprise and is now my favorite silver chain. It will get a lot of use with my other pendants. Without the bezel, this measures a nice 1.5"L x 1"W. It's the perfect size for a photo of my husband and my dog...not sure what order yet. :)

I was surprised by the large size, which was perfect. The partially recessed hinge works well. It opens easily, yet locks tightly. No scratches, lovely finish. We will have it engraved. Looking forward to giving it to Grandma for a big birthday. Will get an extender with an easier clasp for her though. Great value for the money and a gift we will be proud to give. Also arrived in record time, as promised. Very happy with this purchase. Kudos to the seller.

The person who received this piece was moved to tears! She had just lost one of her sons who was in one of the pictures. She is part of my daughter’s family and my precious friend as well. The quality and workmanship of the locket is outstanding! My very first locket purchase and I am happy!

It is attractive and a bit different from those I usually see. I found it easy to open. Just put my 2 thumb nails between the 2 pieces and GENTLY pulled them apart. The inside is large enough to place 2 pictures in them and you will not need a microscope to see them. There is enough room between the engraving on the front piece that you can get your initials engraved there. I'm happy with it!

I received this locket as a gift from my husband for Christmas. It is absolutely beautiful, the diamond cut on the front is beautiful and I would never trade this gift for anything. There’s plenty of room on the back of this lock it to have it engraved. I strongly recommend purchasing this locket for yourself or someone you love.

This Locket turned out to be much larger that I had expected as you can see by the picture of it beside a standard size locket.But that was great as I had bought it to hold a picture of my recently passed fiance.I not only got a wonderful picture of him in it but also managed to get a beautiful picture of the two of us in as well..The sterling silver still looks great even when I wear it everyday and have for 9 months now.

If I could give zero stars I would. This is not sterling silver. It is cheap rhodium plated copper. Furthermore it came with two tags. One staying made in the USA...the other China....oeigin unknown. Do not buy. Waste of money.
