About this item

  • Easy self-adhesive application
  • Only need to apply once per breeding cycle

BREED WITH CONFIDENCE Estrotect Breeding Indicators are proven to help beef and dairy cattle breeders accurately detect estrus intensity, increase confirmed pregnancy rates, inform breeding decisions and improve cattle breeding programs. The Estrotect Breeding Indicator features Breeding Bullseye Technology that indicates when cows are ready to breed, helps confirm pregnancies and provides pinpoint timing for AI protocols. ESTROTECT Heat Detectors are self-adhesive heat detection tools proven to help dairy farmers and beef ranchers determine when their animals are at the maximum opportunity for pregnancy. ESTROTECT Heat Detectors are applied halfway between the hip and the tail head spaced perpendicular to the cow’s spine. As more mountings occur, more of the highly visible fluorescent coloring will appear. More rubs = More Mountings = Maximum Opportunity for Pregnancy. With over a decade on the marketplace and more than 25 million units used worldwide, ESTROTECT Heat Detectors are guaranteed to have a positive impact on your breeding program*. In recent trials, ESTROTECT Heat Detectors showed to perform As Good As A Bull in determining standing heat (SDSU, 2005). Available in packs of 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, & 50 stickers.

These work well for heat detection. We used these for a few months during breeding season and the pink really stands out. We have Angus and Hereford cattle and it was easy to see on both hair colors. Fast shipping as well.

I own and operate a small (50 cows) Registered Simmental Cattle herd. I breed 100% of my cows by artificial insemination in order to get the best genetics available into my herd. Placing one of these heat detection patches on the cows rump, just in front of the cows tail head, lets you know exactly the best time to breed. I highly recommend them!
