Estwing's Solid Steel Milled Face Shingler's Hammer has a fully polished head and handle neck, molded on nylon vinyl grip and a retractable cutting blade. Adjustable for 4", 5", 5-5/8" exposure.

The Drywall hammer has a bonded and molded Shock Reduction Grip which offers the uost in both comfort and durability, while reducing vibrations caused by impact. Estwing hammers are the only hammers that can make this claim. The head and handle are forged in one piece and are fully polished. The round face makes for easy nail driving and the blade will score drywall.

This classic design drywall hammer has been around for over 35 years. Extremely durable and almost indestructible. Perfect balance and weight with a grip that keeps it securely in your hand. Love it!

Admittedly, this hammer was purchased for an unconventional use, for which which it serves very well. We are using this hammer as a chisel for removing a few tiles by hand - squaring up the blade against the mortar and tapping on the face with another hammer. Works like a proper chisel, except thumbs and fingers are far less likely to get hurt from a poorly aimed strike. The process works well, and the hammer takes it all in stride.

Superb hammer. My first Estwing product. I actually bought this and modified it slightly for fitting cedar roof shingles, which it handles fantastically, therefore I can't comment on its effectiveness as a drywall hammer! However, it has a great quality feel and fantastic balance in the hand and I imagine it would perform well with plasterboard.I Generally prefer wooden handles on hammers, but the metal shaft/rubber handle combo is really comfortable, and well suited to heavy or outdoor use.Highly recommended based on quality of build, balance and over all usability. I'm very glad I didn't opt for a cheaper version.

im a plasterer so i use my estwing everyday and ive had a couple of different brands but these are the best, basically you get what you pay for these hammers are lighter, stronger and will last you a long time, worth every penny
