I got these to hold down carving projects in my lap. I actually made a sort of Swedish lap vise with them.it’s a perfect design for this, they are also easy to move around, as you need. I don’t know how they would work with a heavy load, or extreme vibrations . For light duty work, they are awesome. Can’t beat the price.

Good product for the money. The hold down is adjustable which wasn’t exactly clear in the product description. I used them to make a tapering jig for my table saw and they worked just fine. My only gripe…they could have included screws that fit the hold down holes.

Needed hold downs for jigs for a router table. These clamps were very very reasonably priced and are very sturdy and easily adjusted for various heights.

First attempt to clamp material down and I bent the clamp arm. I put a spacer under the clamp and didn't have any other problems. Material might have been a little to thick for these clamps but it was way to easy for me to bend this clamp with just one hand.
