The wire connection did not connect to the generator. They change it need new diagram a new color code what color match’s old color. They know it does not match older units

I got this kit to replace an OEM Carburetor on a Honda EU2000I, and this Carb fit perfectly, and the gaskets spark plug fit.Motor on top of the Carburetor that comes in this kit, has a 4-wire connector on the end, and this after market connector the modularity was kept from the OEM design. This is a great kit, with the 16100-Z0D-D03 Carb, air filter, fuel filters, gasket and spark plug. I'd buy it again!

I've had a Honda EU2000i generator for almost 24 years and it's been an awesome little generator. The last time we used it while camping at a music festival about 6 years ago, I noticed on day 2 that it wasn't running right. A few weeks after we got back home, I cleaned the carb, replaced the plug and filters and changed the oil. That helped, but it still wasn't quite right. It's been sitting in a storage shed ever since then. When I saw this carburetor kit, it reminded me of my trusty little old generator, so I thought I'd give it a shot. Installation is fairly simple for the mechanically inclined and there are plenty of YouTube videos to help you if you get lost along the way. Once I got the generator back together, I put about a quart of fresh gas in the tank, turned the run switch to on, choke on, and pulled the recoil. I don't remember how many pulls it took to get the fuel into the bowl of the carb, but I think it was right about the 6th pull when it fired up. Once the choke was off, the generator was humming right along with ECO mode off. I plugged in my electric pressure washer and sprayed off my UTV. Now the test I was most curious about... ECO mode on. This was when the generator was having problems before. It throttled down flawlessly and was running like it was new; not 24 years old with God only knows how many hours on it. Apply a load, it throttled up. Remove the load, it throttled down to a low idle perfectly. I let it run until it ran out of gas. The kit is worth every penny and I recommend it highly if you have an old Honda EU2000i that isn't running quite right.
