The wheel alone cost 9 bucks on amazon, but this comes with the wheel (which have a rubber like tread) and multiple axles sizes, plus and puller and installer tool. The only thing it didnt have last time i bought it, and I may have just missed it was a 1mm id gear, but thats no big deal as I have about 5 now from other sets. Everyone wants to buy the rails individually too, BUT this set has 2 rails and 4 wheel, its the best deal on Amazon right now. Im working on hitting 30 mph on a mini drag race car so ill be buying more as time allows the builds. Great compliment to the EUDAX 24k RPM motors they sell too. Can also get this kit and motors for a few dollars more.

I prototype a lot of things and these parts are good enough to "make it work". They would be fun for kids or just tinkering, but if you're looking for something that will last, this is not it. Great for what they are, cheap gears. I'll buy more!

I wired a couple of 9V batteries in series to power the little motor with a worm gear and a gear on the rearaxle and used the axles and tires from the kit to make a pretty cool derby car for the "anything goes" class of racing. The race is tomorrow, I hope it stays on the track. This is a fun kit to be creative with any engineering project I suppose.

We ordered this kit for my 8th grader's class and it had everything he needed. We used the left over parts to make new cars and have since reused many of the parts. Good quality for the price!

I bought this set hoping to use these gears on a small project, but the description for it is vague and confusing (describing the spur gears as pulleys, for example), so I used the images provided to guess what size and kind of gears were included. I assumed it had multiples of similar sized gears, but unfortunately it doesn't have more than 1 of each size of the gears provided. A more accurate description would have saved me time and money. Returning it seems pointless, as the product is barely described at all, let alone whether or not it's actually correct. Thankfully, it's cheap so I'm not out too much money.

I used these wheels and gears to create a solar car for a school project. It was nice to have the varying sizes of gears, allowing us to change the gear ratio. They worked perfectly!

Lots of variety. Parts aren't the best quality. I would love if they would offer a pegboard to help developing gear trains easier.
