The noise isn’t the most quiet but I like it because it helps me sleep. It works very well and was easy to set up. My roommates purchased the Black Decker one and it didn’t even cool the room. It was basically a $200 fan. I bought this one and it was WAY better! I enjoy the sleep mode and the automatic turn shut off when the room is cool enough. It’s helped us so much especially during the heatwaves we had in the PNW. The only thing is that the remote sometimes has a hard time reaching the AC. Unless I’m right next to it, it won’t change settings.

I bought this for my bedroom in my RV. I have a 33 ft. Travel trailer. The same day I installed it my main ac unit broke so it got a good try out. My bedroom was nice and coolall day. My RV is 250 sq. ft. The bedroom is about 1/3 of the RV. It did not cool the rest. Even If I centrally located it, it would not cool the entire 250 sq. ft. This is the 10,000 BTU unit and says it will cool up to 350 sq. ft. It definitely will Not cool that large of a space. It was easy to install the window exhaust. This unit is great to cool a small bedroom or office effectively, a 16x16ft room at most. I do not think it's loud. I had a box fan in here before and that was definitely louder than the unit. The remote control is easy to use and it's a nice feature. There is no pull out bucket to empty. You either have to move the entire 60lb unit somewhere and remove the drain plug or use the continuous drain hose. There are 2 continuous drain ports and it's not real clear if you have to use both or just one when on the dehumidifier mode. I raised it up and used the continuous drain hose for now as I want to see how much it dehumidifies the room with the self evaporation and dehumidifing. I did a lot of research and as another person said, there weren't a ton of reviews but all of the reviews were pretty good. For the price, I'm happy with my purchase do far.

I got this long time ago but I used it for over a month. So far, I really enjoy sleeping on the hot day. The setting up is easy and simply as other brand. The AC itself is kind of heavy, which may need two person to move around. The parts provided is adequate to do the job. I know to how set up one before so it only took me 15’ to set up.I like the auto features which may save energy overtime. The AC only turns on when temperatures of the room is higher than temperature set.I kept it at 78 F on hot day that makes me comfortable enough.Noise from the operation is on the high side, I would love if AC mode is quieter. Most noise is coming from compressor when AC mode is on. However, I still sleep normally. For the price, it is a bargain for small room. It tooks around 5’ to feel the temp drop for my master bedroom. I think it would serve the purpose for living room also.

I read a lot of reviews before ordering this air conditioner. I was looking for something for an attic bedroom that did not have to be emptied all the time. This air conditioner has been great! It has been running almost constantly for months and I have not had to empty it yet and I don't have to have a hose connected to it. I'm in NC where it is really humid and I still have not had to empty it yet. It keeps the space I'm in cool. I like to sleep with a comforter and a weighted blanket but that is way too hot in the summer. However, because this unit does such a good job of cooling I can still sleep with heavy blankets!

I have this unit in my bedroom and I have been liking it. It is noisy, but that doesn't bother me. In fact, I rather like the sound for sleeping. Television watching is a problem :-( I also like the iSense feature that let's the unit decide the temperature where the remote is located, rather than where the unit is located. The unit needs to be near window and that area may have a different temperature than where I sleep. However, with iSense I can put the remote on my nightstand and get better temperature control. I've been using this for several weeks and haven't had to drain it. .ugh better than our other model!

I've never heard of this company until doing some research so I'm hoping it holds up. I've had the Euhomy 10k BTU portable AC for a few years now and one problem i have is that it doesn't stay on when the temps increase and i have to turn it down even lower and then the darn thing keeps running! The sound it gives off in my bedroom is tolerable but not quiet when the AC is running. It's not loud either as some can be. The remote has been confusing & definitely a learning curve. I didn't find it too heavy as I lifted it up out of the box. Let's hope it lasts as long as my Amana I had before for 14 yrs. I had to have a friend cut the one window slide extension piece to fit otherwise it wasn't going to fit correctly. I wish it had a NIGHT display that I could read without having to turn my light back on while in bed. The design is sleek enough and doesn't take up too much space between my bed & wall. Wish I would have went with an Amana.

This product works very well. I, like many people who will read this review, was concerned about spending so much on a stand alone unit. There are so many mixed reviews for these. This unit works extremely well - there are ways you can increase it's effectiveness. Most notably by adding tape around where the unit connects to the hose. I felt some warm air escaping (not much but enough to make me want to add the tape). These steps will make the unit more efficient.
