This works perfectly with my northwest beachfront home. I love it! It has survived many wind storms and it literally looks like the fish are swimming up river when it rains. It’s perfect!

I was able to buy 4 of these at over 50% off. If not, I would be upset with my purchase. So far, they are doing well with some strong Florida rains. However, I am able to open the chain links by hand with no tools needed. I expect over time I may have to reattach them together or add stronger chain, as I anticipate eventual spreading of the links under the pressure of torrential Florida rains. I also had to create an anchor point for each with zip ties and extra landscape stakes. While I did receive quite a deal, the inclusion of anchor stakes would add completion to the purchase.

My old rain chains were lotus flowers and they didn't allow any leaves that may get into the gutters to make it through to the ground, they stayed in the flowers. I'm hoping that since these watering cans have such a wide opening at the bottom that they won't gather leaves, and such, like the old ones did. I think these are so cute and look so nice on my home! They seem to be of a heavier construction than the old ones, too. They were very easy to install, anyone can do it!
