I bought this to monitor the internal temperature and humidity in my new safe. As you can see in the photo, it's unobtrusive yet easy to read. I'm just using the magnets on the back to hold it on the shelf riser, though you could use the adhesive pad, or screws. So far, I've very happy with this, and would recommend it to anyone to monitor their safe's internal environment.

This device has been extremely useful in my large gun safe, particularly with monitoring both temperature and humidity levels in the safe. It tells me whether my safe’s dehumidifier is doing its job. I even brought it in the house to check how our central A/C has been performing, and found that it isn’t cooling and dehumidifying as well as it should! So I plan to by 1-2 more. Bottom line is that the device is a great value for the money, and I highly recommend it for gun safes and uninsulated house closets.

It seems to work great, and has more features than I expected. I didn't expect it to have a clock, or an alarm. I really like it, and it seems to be accurate.
