Just before traveling to Europe, I learned that a smaller airline had very specific requirements for a personal bag such as purse or briefcase to take onboard - in addition to a regular carry on. I ordered this bag from Amazon at 10 AM and received it same day at 3 PM. I have no idea how that is even possible, but it saved me. Things I love: durable and nice-looking material, ultra lightweight at just over a pound, quality zippers, simplicity of design where you are not inhibited by interior separators and pockets, amazing amount of cargo can go inside since it is square-bottomed and you can layer and tuck items vertically along sides as well as an outer zippered pocket, great shoulder strap with adjustable length and padded shoulder support, plus a nice hand-carry handle that cinches the two straps together with Velcro, and the best part is the size - 16†x 12†x 6â€. This was the precise size needed from the most limited criteria during my travel. The design from Everest plus the speed of delivery from Amazon was a trifecta. I am impressed. Do not hesitate to make a purchase. Strong value.

Purchased for an international trip to use as a second carry-on. Size was perfect for airline regulations (British Airways 2023), although larger bags were getting through with no trouble. Once we reached our destination, I used this bag as a crossbody for shopping and day trips. The zippers work easily and the bag held up well. My only wish would be that the vinyl coated cardboard pad in the bottom was attached instead of free-floating, but with that said, it never caused any issues. Would buy again! Other colors would be nice.

I already had a carry-on bag for an plane ride although I considered it rather large for my current needs. This bag is the perfect size for me. I has a zippered pouch to store paper items such as flight info and my passport. The bag allows me to carry a sweater or jacket, my tablet and an assortment of smaller items. It feels well made and believe it will last a long time.

Excellent bag - ideal size, quality and price. This bag works great has a business brief case/laptop bag, and has a travel/overnight bag. The cardboard bottom is high quality (covered in nylon AND useful as a bottom OR a divider. Shoulder strap is padded nicely with smart looking logo and overall the bag is just the right size and looks more expensive than it is.

I purchased this item to replace worn-out bag. I was pleased with the product, it was slightly larger than what I had which was awesome.Material seems durable but won't know how long it will actually last. I use it to carry binders and notebooks for business purposes and I know it's overloaded.I would recommend and purchase again for my needs.

Just an FYI if you are traveling internationally the carry on rules are much different than most US carriers, also they are stricter and often will force you to check one of your bags. This is the only bag that maximizes the available space without going over. Only two things could make it better 1) if it had a loop to slide over the handle of your roller-board. 2) if it was 12" high instead of 11" this would give you the absolute max space and still not go over the carry on rules. FYI most non US carriers allow 16" X 12" X 6" max personal item.

Every time I fly with this bag I remind myself to write a glowing review. This bag allows you to maximize your use of allowed baggage space under the airline seat. The open interior of the bag allows you to maximize what you can pack in it. I like the fact that the cardboard bottom is not attached - it gives you more flexibility and the bag folds up so that it takes very little storage space when not in use. It is sturdy, lightweight, and it looks good!

Westjet size limits are just a bit smaller than literally every other airline in North America...for reasons. Westjet AND Air Canada both also only allow a 6" thickness instead of all American carriers' 8" limit, most bags being 8" thick as a result. Finding bags that fit within their Canadian carrier limits that aren't a massive step down in size is not easy...of dozens upon dozens of products I searched for here, this was the one and only non-backpack, non-"Set" personal item bag that fit Westjet / Air Canada sizes.This kind of bag was common as heck twenty years ago Comparative to those (including the bag this one is replacing), this one is much thinner, cheaper material, and completely incapable of holding its shape when empty. It will function, will have to make very sure not to overstuff past the 6" limit since it has such weak structure, but damn this isn't as good as these products used to be. The real insult to injury is that there is no back-of-bag strap to hold it to a carry-on bag's telescoping handle...a simple, cheap feature bags have had for a quarter century or more.But...it does fit within the limit without being massively undersized, without having to buy a 2 to 5 piece luggage set just for the smallest bag. That alone makes it the best of a bad situation. Colour options would have been nice though.
