Helps to kill time if you have too much of it.7. Great mind excersize8. You can use the heck out of it to annoy someone back who annoys you :)9. Ends any unwanted conversations INSTANTLY :)10. Builds self esteem - even if you can't play worth a penny, it sure feels great to hold an instrument and make some sounds with it. Even if you don't know how to play, and you don't know notes, you can still have tons of fun with it and with time you surely will be able to play some tune.Yeah, get it, totally. EVERY HOME... EVERY PERSON need some instrument. This is probably as cheap as it gets to secure one. And a good one to that. You really can make a professionally sounding sounds with it. It is all what you make out of it.

I am not a professional recorder player, if such thing exists, however, this thing is great. I originally got it as a joke, so that I could annoy my friends with the John Cena song. But after I learned that, my career really took off. Not to brag, but I’m pretty good. I think the fact that my recorder is pink, makes me more motivated to learn new songs. If you’re just beginning, orare getting it as a joke, like me, I would 10/10 recomend (the price is great too).

The sound produced is great for an instrument made solely from plastic. Kids love it. The only issue is that the cleaning stick broke right away (kid used it is as a drum stick).Be aware, it is loud, it sounds like it has a build in amp. With that said, if you have friends with kids that you don't like that much, get them this as a gift. The parents will hate you for it.

I bought this because I needed a cleaning rod, could use a second soprano recorder, and was curious how an off-brand ABS recorder compared with an inexpensive ABS Yamaha.The head joint is too tight, in fact much "tighter" than the glue joint that is meant to permanently bond the mouthpiece to the head. I'll be sanding down the injection flash on the barrel side of the head joint, then gluing the head together with model airplane glue. Then I'll see how much I play this recorder.I gave the Yamaha to my wife, because its intonation feels more reliable and my wife is just learning.The cleaning rod works fine.

This is my first recorder! I got a late start. I'm 76 years old. I'm thoroughly pleased with it. I play along with my 22 month old grand daughter who also has a recorder!
