I had a seized broken locking lug nut. When I tried the 21mm socket, I couldn't get it to seat after trying to pound it in with a large ball peen hammer. When I took it off, it looked like the teeth broke off. I tried the other ones and the 22mm was too big and the 19 was too small. I looked at the teeth again on the 21mm and they were NOT broken. There were slivers of the locking lug around the teeth making it look a bit like they were sheered. I took the 21mm again and gave it a bunch of really hard smacks with my hammer and it seated. 10 seconds later with my torque wrench, I was able to remove the lug. When I removed the lug from the socket, the teeth were still solid. This was much better than I expected. 5 stars!

The steel that the tool is made out of is too soft. I ended up using a socket it work better.

From the description and other reviews, I thought these would work effortlessly st removing these old wheel nuts and the security nuts that I don't have a key to. They don't. The design seems like they'll bite, but I had to pound it onto the security nut for what felt like 5 minutes to get it "on" there enough that I could use a breaker bar to break the nut loose. Couldn't use impact wrench. It just kept spinning the extractor socket free of its grip without loosening the nut..and I had to repound it back on.I could use it with the impact wrench on the regular nuts. Just a few taps with the heavy hammer and it was on and the impact took it right off.In the end, it works but it's not as easy as some make it would to be. I think the "teeth" of these sockets should be sharper/better defined.UPDATE: This worked to remove 3 security locking nuts...but not the 4th. On close inspection, it seems like the security nuts are made from stronger steel and has removed the "teeth" from this extractor. (See photos) So YMMV. Dropping my review to 2 stars.

My F150 wheel nut lug was stuck and rounded. After one day of penitration oil and with this socket, using an impact wrench, it came right off. Worth the money.
