These check valves are under-sized for 1/2" ID use. They will not seal water-tight on 1/2" braided hose. The quality seems to be good and they do check reverse flow on a PEX line.

These are supposed to be 1/4" O.D. they are not. The description also says (6mm), 6mm and 1/4" are not the same. These are too small for 1/4" I.D. tubing.

Nice construction, used for pond water feature rather than fuel so s tad over engineered for the purpose but I like that. Good fit well made.
