This took longer to assemble than I expected, but it was fairly easy. My cats absolutely love it! They’re very chubby but the hammock holds their weight well. It’s super cozy for them and they sleep there for hours.

One of my cats immediately fell in love with this cat bed ans has claimed it as her own. Simple design and idea and she gets so cozied up in it. Downsides- The parts didn't quite seem to match up. It seemed the drill holes didn't line up properly. It does warn you that you might need to wiggle it around to adjust it and help it sit flat after assembly. But this was a little different. It still isn't even and sitting flat but he bent it a little to help. I'm unsure what the seller warranty is or how they handle it. We may just have gotten a bad one. But overall, it is still functional and she loves it.

Thank you Dana for your instructions with pictures. The instructions sent with this are terrible. Using the pictures and instructions from Dana's review, made it much much easier to put together!! My cat loves it!! Once again, Thank You Dana!!

I got this for my mini poodle and it was the lowest thing trying to put it together. The directions didn’t make any sense to screw the screws into the bolt you have to hold the bolt with the wrench thing while screwing and holing all the pieces together. The screw now stick out Into the bed. 2 stars for ease of putting it together.I don’t know if this cover is supposed to come off before washing but I will not take this off to clean it if it gets dirty beyond a spot clean I’ll toss it. Its not to big my dog hasn’t gone to it yet so we will see how she likes it with the screws poking in on the side.

To look at the assembled product, you'd think it's fine and attractive... HOWEVER, the cats don't want anything to do with it. As most people mention, the directions are lacking. As much of a pain in the butt as it is to assemble, I should mention that, in order to machine wash the bed, the contraption must be taken apart each time as the rails run inside the hammock. So, it must be taken apart and re-assembled each time you need to clean it, which I'm sure will wear out the hardware quickly, that is, assuming the cats ever use it for it to need cleaned in the first place. Even placing a small cat into the hammock causes the velcro to start pulling apart where the bed joins together. Size of hammock is decent, again IF the cats decide to use it. When assembling, some kind of small, black mess got everywhere. I consider this a waste of money.

Was fairly easy to assemble. Light weight. Decently sturdy. Holds my 12lb cat very well. My large cat doesn't fit in it though so if you have a big kitty I'd reconsider.Be sure to have your own tools as the included screwdriver wasn't very useful. But my cat loves this thing to bits and it's really cute!

This product would probably have much better ratings if the instructions made sense. The ones included are confusing and incomplete.For you brave souls sticking with it, follow my pictures for the steps to take.1. The two halves that do not have the cushioned feet have to go through the fabric, and insert into one another (not very well).2. Assemble the frame, and use the shorter screws. I did this on the floor so it came out leveled. If it it’s not level, check the rubber boots at the bottom because one might be fitted wrong3. Use the longer screws and enforcement piece to assemble the cat bed to the frame - hold the screwdriver in place and use the wrench to tighten the nuts.4. Velcro the cat bed to finishSeems solid, won’t be fun to take off and wash.I’m pretty sure this design could be improved to make the cat bed easily removable to be washed in the whole installation a little bit more intuitive.That being said, cat loves it. His review is 5 stars. I have a heated cat bed on top of it
