I needed some 1/0 copper wire for hooking up an inverter in our travel trailer. The first place I tried was a local big-box home improvement store which starts with "L" and ends with "owe's". They did have 1/0 copper wire, but it was really stiff. I think I could have built a pair of stilts with the stuff. Not good for my project. Next, I tried another local big-box home improvement store which starts with an "H," and they had what appeared to be the same stuff. Not quite as stiff as a 2 X 4, but it certainly wasn't going to make any sharp corners easily. Third was a local place which sells batteries and accessories. I can't remember what letter their names starts with. They had wonderfully flexible 1/0 copper wire, but it cost a LOT more than the really stiff stuff. Finally, I went to Amazon and took a chance on this wire, and it's been great. I've made up several battery cables, and this 1/0 wire is very flexible and a joy to work with.

insulation is nice and tight but remains flexible. Wires nice and tight. Not straight and loose but in multiple bundles

well... i got 20' of 1/0 and prob gonna order more. u can't get much better quality imho. does perfect offset bends and 3" radius bends. it fits readily in 3/4" split conduit. the resistance across 10ft is about ~0.6ohms to my second aux battery. I soldered and crimped. lugs on with a rosebud but you have to be gentle on assembly because strands are fine as hair. also this wire sucks solder like desoldering braid. a test 6" peice became silver solid core when I used too much solder-.- I highly recomend the fill lug with solder method then crimp while hot but solidified. lugs if good quality fit perfect. the jacket feels like automotive silicone type. highly recomend getting a proper 1/0 stripping tool as I have tried all types of removing jacket but always end up cutting or nicking serval strands. note: this this a silverado full rewire to 1/0 @300amp. redarc isoalators and back charging from a 40amp solar array. your results may vary as I am using for capacity and lossless power delivery.

Ordered the 15ft cables and realized they werent at long as I thought. Didnt measure them but compared to my 15ft fuel line it was about a foot shorter so I ordered the 10ft to make up for the needed cable. Vable is excellent quality and flexible as described.

I bought this 1/0 gauge cable to fit in my own DINSE 10-25 connector, since the connector measured exactly 3/8â€, and the cable was supposed to be 0.373†diameter. Well, when I stripped the cable, it measured 0.42â€, a little thicker than 0.373â€. A little disappointed that I had to make it work, but then again, I have to make my projects work 99% of the time anyway. Cut off several strands and fit right in. 0.373†holds 300 amps anyways.

True to size full copper cable, very satisfied. If you’re using this wire for car audio i 100% recommend it. Put it up to the old 4 gauge cable for picture reference and the difference seriously shows. Amps are getting full power now. ðŸ‘
