Very nice wire! I used this to build a full charge and ground harness, and integrate the big three, and additional grounding harness on my 190k mile Forester XT. I had been having grounding issues as these cars are known to be under-grounded from the factory.Nice wire to work with, the product itself is absolutely flawless. I do wish there were more options to buy, so I could buy more black then red.I had used tinned copper terminals and crimped them, soldered them in place, covered the joint in dielectric grease, and heat shrunk. Perfect cable for improving the setup on your car.

This is the real deal. I have bought and used most of the gauges on my DC wiring. All copper, flexible and just a great product!Don't waste money on China knockoffs. This is quality wire: flexible & solid copper. NOT copper clad aluminum!

High quality cable I used to create a longer thicker cable for my arc welder ground and electrode cables. Insulation is thick, cable is pliable and easy to work with. The price was fair and the packaging and shipping was excellent. I would purchase again.

Used these cables for my “Big 3†upgrade in my 1995 Toyota Tacoma. They have been in use for a few months now and show no signs of wear/tear. Highly recommend

I am using these on my solar setup, they power inverters and crank my Onan generator.

Very ductile and pliable. Bends and routes easy. Actual 4 gauge and with quality ends and wrap will make great battery cables for automotive purpose...

Received the cables today (10' red x 10' black, #4 GA welding cable). Stripped back a little insulation and the diameter of the conductor is between 0.23 and 0.24" It's a little tough to measure the finely stranded cable since it deforms when I put the caliper on it. That compares favorably to the spec for #4AWG stranded cable, which is around .232 - .235", depending on the stranding. It is much bigger than #6AWG, which is .185-.186", again depending on the stranding.Great transaction and good product as advertised.

As stated in description, this wire is flexible and easy to work with. I needed this length to make up a connector cable for when I use my 9500 pound winch on the rear of truck. The factory harness was about $250 so I ised this cable and some quick disconnects to make it much less. I crimped the wire into connector lugs and then soldered them to insure connection and durability. They are slightly smaller that the 4 gauge wire that came on winch but there was not any significant loss of voltage when I checked it with meter after assembling cables. Not sure about durability as the outer sheath is not as stiff but that does allow for more flexibility.
