This is a review for EXCELLENT ELITE SPANKER Tactical Helmet Cover Fast Helmet Cloth for Fast BJ/PJ/MH Helmet in Size M/L for Airsoft HelmetDespite the funny name of this company, Elite Spanker usually makes quality products. This item is no different.It is well made, and fits my helmet well. I had no issues putting it on the helmet, and it seems pretty durable. Not really much to say about this helmet cover. I recommend it.

Synopsis:Not bad for the money. Should protect helmet from most scratches and allow for cable routing and some attachments.Initial impressions:I've used EES gear before for light use, like the range etc. Certain items I use for actual work purposes and this helmet cover is one of those items. The particular helmet I covered doesn't have a lot of stuff connected to it like nods etc so I mostly wanted something to hold some patches and keep my helmet from getting to beat up and this works well for that. I had no manufacturing problems and it seemed to be of decent quality (light duty or airsoft). Definitely not for T1 units or deployment but is fine for anyone who would be reading this review.Use:I installed on a 3M Ceradyne XL high cut IIIA helmet (real, not airsoft) and it fit fine. I already had lots of velcro inside so just stuck it on without much effort. If you need velcro mounted in your helmet that's pretty easy to do, but this cover did not come with those male side patches. I generally cut off advertising tags so you won't see those in my pics.

I got this for when i play on a tan team at airsoft events, and it works well. Its very easy to use and set onto my helmet, and the velcro is nicely made so it should last a while. The elastic bands are also nice for tucking away the air hoses from my anti fog fan.

Helmet cover looks great and was easy to install. I like that the cover has mesh design so if you wanted to add local flora to increase camouflages that's an option.

The Elite Spanker helmet cover is a great additive, alternative, or replacement helmet cover for your tactical sport helmet. While my son's FDE helmet came with an FDE/Camo helmet cover, this one is of similar quality and fit from the default, but is a nice alternative for anyone wanting change up the color scheme, or purchased a black version of the tactical helmet. Application/installation to the helmet is identical to the original, with the only notable differences being:1. The velcro strip in the middle does NOT run then entire front to back length of the helmet like the original does.2. The velcro patches on the sides above the ears are semi-circle shaped, rather than rectangle. I'm used to seeing people put rectangle patches there, so to see a semi-circle shaped patch (which doesn't match the footprint of combat patches), seemed like a slightly odd choice.Either way, those variations have little (if any) functional impact on the product. If you're looking for a cover to match your black helmet, are looking for a replacement for a lost cover, or simply want a color alternative that's black, this helmet cover seems like a great choice.
