This spinner is small but mighty. Takes up little storage space in my cabinet and I use it often. Easy to clean and overall works well. Perfect for small quantities of fruits and vegetables.

As someone who prepares meals for myself only, and eats a salad on most days, this small salad spinner is perfect for me! I love not just the size, but also how easy it is to clean and store it. It couldn't be more effective at pulling out the water and leaving me nicely dried, crisp lettuce! I simply place my torn Romaine lettuce pieces into the strainer, spray some veggie cleaner on and toss by hand for a minute or so. I grab the strainer out and run cold water over the lettuce, while tossing, to rinse. I shake off any excessive water drips, and from there I can just place the strainer back in the bowl and put the cover on. I give the handle a few spins in each direction, a couple of times (the handle is a good size and comfortable to grip, even with arthritic, extra-small hands). It always amazes me to see how much water this little guy pulls out, too! I lift out the strainer and dump the clean, dry lettuce onto my plate -- super easy! Then, all I do to clean it is put a drop of dish soap in the hole of the cover along with a little warm water, put my thumb over the hole and shake it really well. I don't know why I have never owned a salad spinner before this, but I am sure glad I found this. I've been using it almost every day for about 3 months and I feel like it's sturdy enough to hold up for years to come. In my opinion, this is a great buy!

Great for one salad. Does what it’s supposed to do and doesn’t take much storage space. Rinses clean quickly. Drains and spins easily. No problem leaking as I’ve read with other reviews (have had it for two months and use it at least twice a week).

For small servings of sprouts of the leaf and stem variety. A little more difficult to rotate the gear with thicker sprouts such as mung bean.

I can’t review well this product, I received the product yesterday and I opened today and the bowl has a white drain plug at the bottom of the bowl, the plug has some black dots in the rubber looks like mold, box was sealed so it must have come like that from the manufacturer. Seems like it could have work ok. I’m getting a replacement hoping what I receive don’t have those black dots. So I’m able to use it for what’s intended for.
