I didn't have any prior repair experience but changing this was easy enough for me to try on my own. The cylinder works great and the quality looks good so far.

Little different in shape than OEM, but fit and function are perfect, no issues with install and working great. Replacement from local parts houses are $50-60, and OEM is almost $90, this unit is an absolute bargain.Installed on 2009 Mazda MX-5 5spd.

I expect this part to fit very well since Exedy makes OEM parts for Mazda Miatas, but I must have ordered this a week ago with the expectation that it would arrive in about a week. I find that it has not even shipped yet, and that I can do nothing but wait or cancel my order and possibly end up waiting even longer. I am receiving no information about when the cylinder will come in, so I have to make a blind choice.

I replaced the OEM clutch slave cylinder on my 2006 Mazda Miata at the same time as the master cylinder. The only thing I did not use in this kit was the pushrod. The OEM pushrod is of a slightly different (and I think better) design so I re-used that one. The slave cylinder works flawlessly after more than 2 months of daily use and shifting has the same feel as the OEM parts. I am very happy with this purchase.

Slightly different pin than the stock slave on my 08 MX-5 but it did the job! Much cheaper than anything else out there.

This prodict cost me in the past four times more then this one.Good quality in great priceI think that every MX5 owener should get those as a spear parts.

My master and slave were from 2006. I replaced them with Exedy products. Easy to install and work great.
