My contractor installed the drain, so I can't say anything about the ease of installation, but he seemed to be doing alright with it. I like the clean modern look. It looks great with my bathroom design. The quality is good for the price and it's been holding up well so far as it has been in use for about 3 months now.

I messed up. I was waiting on my contractor to start bathroom remodel thanks to a leak in wall. We didn’t realize we would need to change our fixtures. The big box stores were limited with the Matt black we wanted. Amazon has a vast variety, and had it to me the next day. I’m Leary of “off†brand plumbing but had to but “generic†but it worked out. Works great, looks great!Update - this drain is nice, but, the inserts that center the tile top cover are grey. The drain is black and looks good with the tile insert, but you can see the grey clips. Why they aren’t black to blend in better is my only gripe. See attached picture to see what I mean (the camera didn’t pick them up as they really look) tried to put black paint but it didn’t last.

What a great drain, can be flipped over and tile put in to match floor. Would recommend to anyone looking for this style of drain.

It looks great! My only complaint is that it the drain cover is not easy to lift. You must be able to lift it to clear and clean the basket that is underneath, which collects hair. Yuck! But I was prepared that this was something I’d have to keep up with. However, the KEY/TOOL that comes with the kit is TOTALLY USELESS. It is not sturdy enough to lift the tiled cover, at all! I finally got smart - and creative - and used a smoothing tool (shown in the attached photo, compared to the key) to lift the drain cover. I’m going to continue to search for a less janky solution, but for now it works so that I could clear the basket from hair for my shower to properly drain. I wouldn’t let this be a deterrent from buying the product. Just be prepared. And hopefully the manufacturer can come up with a better solution.

Please don't buy this product! First of all I was sent the wrong product colour, stainless not black, secondly, after returning the first product and ordering again (stupidly), the product I have received is the correct colour but is missing the bottom drains and the drain filter. Absolutely not worth the hassle!
