I purchased this product over the others because some of the reviews demonstrated stable operation of the gauge (no bouncing). I can attest that it works without jumping around on my vehicle. I'm not sure if the hose clamp was meant to be installed before or after the adapter is threaded in (or if it was actually even necessary to install). It seems either way will work. Overall a simple tool to use and eased my mind about the converter problems that plague the VQ40.

Accurately read slight variations in catalytic system that would not show up in other tests. Well worth the money for peace of mind. Well made and accurate. Don't abuse instrument and it will last.....
