Looks good. Didn't need to wet or moisten. Plyable, wrapped nice.

Better than i expected for the price. Very sturdy, wrapped around twice (2 layers) and keeps the heat in just fine for my bike.

The install was easy after soaking it in water prior .Make sure you wear gloves or you will be itching anywhere that you manage to spread the fiberglass particles to.They provide you with plenty to wrap an exhaust pipe for a small motorcycle or scooter or moped .It does a great job of shielding you and plastic parts from heat (to an extent , obviously use common sense and give things adequate space)Also you should either have metal zip ties on hand to secure it once you are done wrapping .

Haven't used the product yet and I'll update the rating after I do. Need to factor in the time and inconvenience of needing to get stainless cable ties.

About 3/4 of the way through the roll there was a flaw in the material and it just fell apart and unraveled from that point on. I couldn't finish wrapping the exhaust as a result.

Take the advice of a previous reviewer and moisten the wrap with water. It keeps the flyaway fibers down, allows for a much easier flex around bends, and eases the effort of fitting it tightly to the tubes. I would suggest using gloves, protective clothing and a disposable towel to cover your workspace. The black coloring will stain EVERYTHING it touches and does not wash out. I am pleased with the product. I do suggest the company start sending several more stainless ties, because the amount provided only covers the simple top and bottom of the eight exhaust tubes. It doesn't account for double wrapping adjacent tubes, nor the area near the collector that cannot be wrapped individually. So, buy another pack of stainless ties with this product. It will make the process work as intended.

I put this on my exhaust manifolds, up pipe (y pipe), down pipe (4”), CAC tube(s) and wire-looms (new, no need to splice). I would say don’t get the band tightening tool, useless and even counter intuitive honesty. A pair of alternative lifestyle pliers (dykes as my dad called them) work perfect to wrap up and cut in one swoop.FIBERGLASS WILL GET EVERYWHERE, read that again. People have said to use water, I didn’t feel the need. Latex gloves and a solid set of overalls or painter suit will be the finisher, air hose yourself off.I was lucky enough to put my wrapping in the oven at 400* for 2hrs after using silicone heat paint to cure, so I don’t get the smoking after install. I cannot attest to longevity as I just got my 6ohshit in after rebuilding. I believe it will hold up well.I used zip ties to hold wrapping down, folding the ends under itself so it doesn’t unravel. Put on the SS bands USE TWO on each end, no need to skimp and do it again... seriously. Then cut the zips off, makes it easier. Air hose yourself and shower, no need to itch!

it is self cleaning every time it rains, easy to install. It doesn't flake fiberglass off when you rub against it. The package comes with everything you'll need besides sissors to cut the wrap with. I've had this on my motorcycle exhaust for 8 years, and only need to replace it because I went down and my pegs tore my wrap. I think it's a great product!
