My leopard gecko has loved this sand imo. And I love the color. Good texture and quality, it's a thicker grain than the typical sands at petco/petsmart but he dsnt seem to mind.

I bought this sand for the budding entomologist in our family, who proudly owns seven blue feigning death beetles. It's absolutely perfect for their desert terrarium! The color looks natural and adds a great aesthetic, and most importantly, the beetles seem to like it.It's been a great addition to their habitat, and we're very happy with this purchase.

I use this for my Israeli Dune Geckos. It is authentic 'desert' sand. The granules are much finer than a play sand from a sandbox. But they are fine enough of particles that the geckos have less risk of harm from accidentally missing a bug.It also really holds onto heat in the daytime well, and releases that heat at night. It's a great tool if you're into making realistic habitats for your creatures.

When dealing with egg laying critters colored sands help I normally do a layer of neon under the Blk and it allows you to spot digging areas fast! It’s worth its value! It’s not super bulky for safety so they won’t eat big bits and it’s soft to the touch so it won’t rub them raw either. its appearance is as pictured. And use is easy just pour in and shape how you want it.

Works good and is as described. Had a hole in both bags I received. Not a big deal to me as it didn’t have bugs in it and I was able to use the whole bag in a sitting

I’ve tried multiple different sands for my snake because he likes to burrow and this brand is by far my favorite. It doesn’t stick to his eyes or get stuck in his scales like I’ve noticed some other brands do. I also really appreciated that it didn’t have any smell to it at all. Definitely will continue buying this and can confidently say I would recommend to anyone with little sand dwellers of their own.🖤

This is perfect for my bearded dragon. I have this on half of her tank and she loves digging around in it. Also not bad for scooping out her feces as well with her little reptile pooper scooper. One bag goes a long way.

This is exactly what I needed for my aquarium! It is very fine grain size and is very black with a little bit of natural sparkle to it. 20 lbs gave me just over an inch of coverage in my 20gal aquarium. It really makes me artificial plants pop and under a blue LED will make my gfp axolotl look great!Fair warning, if you are using this as aquarium substrate, wash this sand at least 3 times! I ordered 20 lbs of this as substrate for my axolotl tank and washed it in a 5 gal bucket until the water ran clear. I let it settle, then washed it again. Then I transferred it to my aquarium and 48h later, I'm still waiting for the dust to settle/get filtered out of the water column. It's common for sand to be "dusty" but this stuff definitely needs a little extra washing before it's ready for aquatic use (but it's not marketed as aquarium sand and once it's been washed clean it'll be prefect so I'm not docking any stars).TLDR : Great value for price, nice dark color with some sparkle, wash multiple times if using in aquariums

Habe meinen Mann den Sand für sein Terrarium gekauft, er war echt Positiv überrascht und sehr zufrieden. Der Bartagam fühlt sich wohl und ist am Graben wie ein Maulwurf.

A very fine sand that could be used for an hour glass. Great for mixing into soils for plants that require drainage and is not coarse and heavy for all of it to end up at the bottom of the planter. Also great for controlling fungus gnats by layering at least 1/2†of this sand on top of the soil. Once wet, the sand locks together with the water surface tension and feels solid but water drains through easily. There is no chance for gnats to go in or come out.
