I am very happy with these screens. I have 30 year old windows and have worn out or lost a few of my screens. These work perfectly for my smaller windows. They are easy to use and look good for what they are. Well made easily adjustable and I think they are going to hold up pretty well. They keep out the mosquitos and no-see-ems.

When I removed screens on my second floor windows to clean, BIG mistake. They were difficult to reinstall and required going out onto the roof to pop back in. Not happening! These are a perfect compromise. I leave the screens out most of the year and for the limited times of the year when the windows can be open, I use these. I can just store them behind my dresser and pop them in place when I open the windows. They easily slide into the window frame and are held in place be gently closing the window on top of them. Because they slide to adjust, they aren't as visually appealing because there is a frame going down the center. But it is a small price to pay for the convenience of clear window for the rest of the year.

For some reason, most apartments in Manhattan (NYC) don't have screens, regardless of price-bracket.Annoying, used-to-be-a-lot-cheaper expandable screens from the hardware store are the recourse for many of us, especially if one doesn't want to or can't afford the astronomical cost of keeping air conditioning running all the time. But they are ugly, rickety, get dirty fast, and tend to rust.These are sturdier, tidy looking, and have pile weather stripping on the top and bottom to create a good seal with the window-frame and keep bugs out. Also, the mesh is painted with what looks like white enamel, which hopefully deters rust.Much better than what you get at the hardware store.

Without a doubt, these screens blow away the competition. I was actually shocked at the superior quality. They are extremely well made. Compared to the flimsy well known brands, they are worth every penny.They do cost a bit more, but you won’t be throwing them in the garbage.They feature , heavy gauge aluminum frames and you can adjust them to horizontal or vertical applications.I bought 4 of them. Will be buying more soon.

I bought these for my bedroom window and my son’s bedroom window. They are very sturdy and the screen material is as well. Perfect fit and work well.
