Got these for our big guy as he is getting a little older and I worry about his grip on the floors and stairs. He is a Great Pyrenees and has definite ideas about what he will allow. He is a big marshmallow fluffy sweetie pie, but he is magical about being able to get things off and avoid what he doesn't want. Got these in XL in blue, and first let me say that he looks beyond cute in them. He looked incredibly cute, and incredibly annoyed. He let me put them on, and then glared at me and got up and walked away. Then as he was walking he tried to shake them off. Then he tried to pull them off with his teeth. I am thinking we will have to work up to him wearing these a little at a time. All of that being said, they come in a cute flat envelope and the booties and straps are in a plastic envelope inside of that envelope. Perfect for a gift. The colors are cute and the straps do attach. I would be a little concerned to have a snap where the dog could potentially chew it off. But we did not get that far anyway. They are a sort of elastic blend knit and have grippy soles and would not be great for wet or snow or ice. They are best for dry and mostly interior surfaces. Maybe the car if you want your sweetie's paws contained from touching the interior of the car. Maybe for a warm deck. Maybe for a visit to someone's home who is nmot used to pawprints. There are lots of great uses. The size we ordered fit fine, we got XL for our XL boy. Fun, cute, and I hope eventually he will enjoy them!

I have purchased numerous dog socks to help with grip on hardwood floors. These are less stable than others and do not help.

Bought this for my senior dog who can't stop licking her paws. This helps preventing her from licking too much, that if left alone with her constant licking, her paws get raw.

I swear the things my dog puts up with haha. She is not quite a fan of wearing socks but I am quite a fan of seeing her wear socks. The grips are a nice touch since I have slippery floors. I keep telling her if she stops chewing off her paw pad everything she gets a blade of grass stuck between her toes, she wouldn't need socks bu5 she doesn't listen. These stay on pretty good considering her enthusiasm for trying to take them off. They are not waterproof but I didn't expect them to be but they are nice and soft. A good starter paw covering to use to introduce the concept to a dog if you plan on putting something more protective on their feed for walks later in.

We have all kinds of rough terrain in our backyard, including sand and those elements were doing a number on my Husky’s paws.They were cracked and he would constantly lick them and make any irritation worse.I tried putting pet balms and coconut oil on his pads and he would just lick it off.These pet socks have really helped the irritation and rough patches, as well as they don't allow him to lick any ointment or salves off.He of course doesn't like these socks at all, but we only use them when he is in his crate at night. The velcro bands and elastic help. He is a Husky, so somehow they tend to be crafty enough to get out of anything. Luckily, not these socks!The price is great for the quality, pet owner friendly features and functionality.

These are nice and soft. They were more "accepted" by our dog that other heavier "boots". We are happy with these for sure.

There are a lot of positives about these socks going in. They look nice. They are well packaged. The construction on the outside seems good. On the set I received, the inside was unfinished. There were a lot of loose strings in all four socks. When I tried to put these on my dog, the strings would get caught by his nails and then we were off to the races. Since I couldn't really get them on and secured in a timely manner, my interest declined. They are good looking on the outside though.
