We have a white board paddle that goes with the See it and Say it Box set, and we provide a dry erase marker. Over the years, we've tried MANY options, in many colors, to test longevity and cost effectiveness. We always come back to Expo. They simply last the longest, hands down. The tip is a great size for writing or drawing, and they erase cleanly without residue. The thickness of the pen is just slightly thicker than a normal writing pen, which words well for littler hands, without being cumbersome for adults or teens.

These are what i use at home for kids to mark up their white boards. Black is bold, the tip is easy to write letters and numbers. And most importantly, low odor. These were purchased for a classroom setting so students can work out problems 'by hand' without needing to use paper and pencil. The markers erase cleanly from the surface of the desk plastic and the nibs thus far have been robust enough.In my experience though, expo markers, while nice, do not last as long as they used to. Nib quality has changed and the ink isn't as saturated not lasts as long. I still have some of the OG markers that reek but they still write like new.Despite the decline in quality, they are still better than most dry erase markers. I still need to give Pilot V board ones a try, but they lack variety of colors and nib sizes.

Fine tip is perfect for individual white board use. My 97 year old Dad is deaf and we use white boards to communicate with him...he reads and replies verbally. Nursing home staff, Drs., etc all use the ones I leave in his room and we go through a lot of markers. He keeps this good supply of markers in his drawer and replaces them as necessary. Might be too fine for white board use in a board room but these are perfect for individual boards where space is at a premium and you don’t want a wide marker.

We expect the dry erase markers to be fresh, these two bulk packs were all dried out. We tested each one and there was not one the was usable. Teachings supplies are expensive and funds are scarce this is unacceptable.
