We actually have pretty decent tasting, clean water already. Absolutely no complaints on that one but some of the reports of what even very low-levels of some chemicals may be doing are enough to raise some concerns and this is decently priced so we decided to give it a go.Although installation was not too difficult, there were a few, fairly small issues that could have been smoother. Firstly, the instructions include no clearances or dimensions so the installer is left to measure and um-and-ah for themselves. We have a slightly awkward install as I decided to place it in the corner where there is some otherwise infrequently used space. There is a permanently installed shelf there. After a bit of backward-and-forwarding, I was able to ascertain that there was clearance for the tank and for changing the filters (with about 1/4" to spare). A mounting template would have been a very useful addition. Due to the confined space, I mounted one of the screws very slightly from where it needed to be and had to move it.The instructions are laid out like a brochure. Not terrible to work from but it means you have to hunt for the specifics sometimes. Other than the aforementioned dimensions and template, they're pretty complete though although it claimed a washer for the faucet that I didn't appear to have. It didn't seem to affect anything. You'll want to attach a fair amount of the pipes before you're crawling under your sink, especially if you have reduced access as I did. The top two filters are also probably best removed for the first part of the operation. They pop back in pretty easily. The faucet is a bit of a pain to install, especially with the small nut and that you can't attach the pipe before the faucet is installed (having a way to do that before was a godsend). I tried using the push-fit attachment first but that somehow seated wrong and was leaking. The plastic-olive alternative works fine though. A small, cheap angled wrench for tightening up the nut(s) would be a welcome addition to the kit. I did have a regular wrench but it wasn't ideal for the space. The short pipe to the leak-stop mechanism is just a bit too short. I had to mount the filters high because of the shelf and that means it doesn't quite reach the bottom. I bought some more pipe to give me that extra length but just a few more inches would have been nice. The water itself... To be honest, I can't taste much difference. It's good but, as mentioned, it tasted good anyway. I have noticed that flavored drinks seem to taste a bit better though. Maybe a hint less of a chlorine smell (though that wasn't really an issue anyway). But it's more about the health side of things anyway. It might be interesting to see the difference in TDS but I'm probably not going to bother.Oh, one other thing is that the shutoff exits to the right but my system is to the left. Not a big deal, just a little annoying. I couldn't see any way to switch it over.Edit: Having used for a few months, no complaints. There is a slight whine when running the faucet but no big deal. One thing that could have been included in the box would be replacement schedule labels. It's not hard to manage ourselves, of course but it would be a good way for the company to encourage filter replacements. An app might be an idea too for people who would use such a thing.

The best health purchase we have made in a while!!! The product came fast it came with an extra set of filters for the three main stages of filtration. It came with fittings to install completely with a simple set up. I laid out the set up to decide if I needed anything extra to install under my sink. I have both a ice maker and a small hot water heater for instant hot water for herbal tea under the sink and I wanted both of them to get the filtered water as well... So I needed an extra 1/4 inch tee and a few feet of 1/4 poly which I went to the hardware store to buy... You can design it how you want and I also got a 1/4 inch shut off to put on my line that feeds my hot water heater, so I can turn it off and work on it if I ever need to and not have to turn off my filter water... Make your own plans and go to the hard ware store and get the advice from the workers there and just go for it and you will not be sorry, because this is a great purchase. I contacted the seller and got semi clear covers and they were awesome to work with, but clear is not recommended because it could introduce light into where the filters are and theoretically introduce light grown organisms... So it needs to be where NO light will get to the filters, if you choose this option and the cans are off clear and if I had to recommend one or the other, I would stick with the white as they are the best; but I wanted to mention it as this company is so good and responds to your needs so well and I felt obligated to let others know that they will take care of you if you need something... I was curious how the ice would be after we installed this system and as others had said ... the ice was almost clear, which was cool :)... I will add this as it might be something you do it your-selfers might want to think of doing... While I had everything removed from under the sink, I also got a small piece of lanolin and put it under the sink and brought it up on the sides a couple inches and calked in so that when any water does spill, when changing filters, or simple wear on valves / faucets (as it is inevitable over the years) it is no problem whatsoever and it looks nice and clean and was so cheep and simple to install... (note: I made it so if ever there is a leak on any of my many fittings, water will come out the front and onto my sink rug and I will notice it and not have any problems going under cabinet/down stairs... looks good too)Water quality when measured at the same time from the regular faucet and unfiltered using a TDS unit (total dissolved solids) purchased here on Amazon is at 254 ppm (parts per million) and after it has been filtered through this unit, it was at 17 ppm and a week later it dropped to 14 as it cleaned out I guess (if I just barely touch the water with the tip or reader it is below 10 and if I Put entire end into water it is at 14 (It might get a bit lower as it gets more water through it, and water; and obviously, minerals will differ from one location to the next... ).. Water tastes similar to distilled water as compared to our regular water... We could not be more happy to have this very inexpensive and quality system in our home and the extra security of having pure water is awesome!!! LOVE IT

This was a great system to install as the instructions and video made it very clear. I had two minor leaks but it was not the system itself but my the tightening of water line connections. I did not want to over tighten but a had to tighten 1/4 turn and bingo. I got a 3 year supply of cartridges so I should be set until 2027. My TDS reading once installed was at 9. Anything from 0 - 50 is very good drinking water. Very good reading. I am not sure about these tablets mark S have anything to do with the system and I must find out how to purchase more if required. Other than that minor issue, I am more than pleased with this osmosis system. Great value, easy install, great drinking water reading. Happy wife, happy life, for now.

For the money this is hands down one of the best systems. It was easy to install. The flavour of the alkaline water is great. We hooked it up to the fridge so it took a bit more to install it because of all the filling and emptying you need to do to get it set up. Before connecting it, I hooked up the faucet temporarily and drained it into the sink. The first day or two, there was a strange rubber-like flavour in the water. This is normal. The rubber bladder inside the tank needs a few cycles of expansion and contraction to loosen up. If you get that flavour or rubber, all you need to do is to completely drain the tank 2 times and then it’s gone. But make sure you drain it to the point where the water comes out as a trickle and you’ll know it’s completely empty.I have had it for 5 months and I think it’s ready for the first filter change. We have not had a single problem with the system. It does make a funny sound every once in a while but that’s just the bladder making noise. It’s a great product at a great price. Very well packaged and easy to understand instructions. It took me only 45 minutes to set it up.

The rate of flow is less than expected but is more than adequate to meet our water drinking needs and our coffee maker. It produces crystal clear awesome drinking water. I connected mine to my fridge, the results are great. No more bottled water. The install instructions are good. I recommend you read them carefully for the best results. I would buy again.
