I bought this with a large pitot tube (not included) to measure air speed in hoses on farm equipment for my job. The device offers different units of measurement which are really handy to keep from having to do conversions afterwards. If in a highly dynamic environment, or doing multiple tests at once with quickly changing variables, I highly recommend using the software that either comes with the device or can be downloaded on their website. Very, VERY useful for graphing outputs rather than trying to guess an average.

I like everything about this meter except the battery compartment and the magnetic holder. The battery compartment was tricky to put back on and it appears to be something that will break easily. The magnetic holder is just cheesy and the magnet isn't strong enough to hold the meter reliably. If they were trying to copy Fluke's magnetic holder, they missed the mark. But overall, the meter is very good. It gives stable readings, and the display is large enough that I can see it from a distance. The meter backlight function is very convenient for working in dark areas. The record function is nice when measuring an airflow that's varying. You can let the meter sit for 5 minutes, then come back and find the min, max, and average.

Meter works great, data logging software has a bug in that if you are recording for a long period the time stamp gets out of whack. Running software on Microsoft Surface Book, Windows 10. Other than that I have used it as single pressure and differential pressure. Took some time (minor) to figure out the recording setup, but I am someone who does not read directions until all else fails.

The manometer is great; accurate and responsive. Datalogging, though, requires the manometer to be connected to a computer running the Extech software. Just need to remember that for datalogging.
