I love this microwave stand. Although I’m using it for my small toaster oven. Very well made, and the ability to expand the width! I particularly love the open bottom area. No side bars to get in your way. Very durable, all steel!

This is a great space saver but it is a little bit flimsy. I like that I can adjust the height of the shelves and I just don’t put anything heavy on the top two shelves.

I was in need of something that can help with storage and save space on my counter top.Let's start with the directions... they are little to no help! I actually had to look at the picture of the item itself to figure it out. Once you figure out the first and second part it's easy and self explanatory. While this looks ok it's unsteady. When you put stuff in the shelves you have made sure that it's either not to heavy or push everything closer to the back as there is nothing holding up the front of the shelves. I do not feel like this is a safe shelving system. The brackets to hold together the top and bottom don't hold well enough it looks like it will snap easy. It can hold a lot but not heavy items. It does look pretty good once up but as pictured it's a open so you may want to use decorative and functional items. I have mason jars and it looks nice but again cannot be too heavy. I like that it is adjustable.. that helps alot with the fit for your needs.Unfortunately I really wanted to love this but I do not trust it will hold well over time and I need a more sturdier shelving to house the jars I need to put on it. All in all it's not an awful piece but not good if you have slightly heavier stuff.I personally do not think it's worth the money.

I had to support the shelves to get them to stand up. All in all, I am pretty happy! It looks good.

Flimsy. Shelves seem to lean down, and there’s no way to level them.

Instructions were a bit lacking, but the unit was very solid once assembled!

The assembly instructions for this shelving unit were very vague and mainly picture-driven. Assembly was more difficult than I first thought it would be. I discovered a few things during assembly, which I mention to help others during the process.I needed a 5/16†nut driver in addition to the included tools. The tiny screwdriver in the box was inadequate, so I used a larger Phillips head screwdriver instead. The back support rods need to be aligned so the slots for the shelving face the feet of the base supports. It you get those on backward, you will have to switch those around to be able to insert the shelf brackets once assembled. The compression sleeves must be mounted on the smaller horizontal adjustment rods prior to attaching those small rods to the sides. You must first unscrew the sleeves completely to be able to slide over the smaller rods. The larger end on the compression sleeve must be facing away from the hole where the screw attaches to the side. That larger end of the sleeve fits over the outside of the larger rod.The openings for the larger rods were bent slightly, and I was unable to slide the small rod inside at first. I had to manipulate the rods until the ends were circular. The metal is very thin and was likely crushed when packing. There was no apparent damage to the shipping box, and the box was thick enough to support some shipping impacts. When attaching the shelf supports to the sides of the shelves, one of the screw inserts was missing. I used one of the spare nuts to be able to use the screw so the shelf support could be attached properly. My microwave was large with the back sticking out far enough so the assembled shelving unit would not easily fit on the same shelf with my microwave. I had to move the microwave forward where the front of the microwave was over the lip of the underlying shelf by several inches. There was just enough room for the feet of the microwave and the feet of the shelving unit to fit on the base from front to back. The shelving unit was not deep enough to contain the large microwave, but it still worked for me. It provided extra room above the microwave which was not there before. The shelving unit is stable enough to support my bread maker and some other items. The included plastic hooks also provide a place to hang things like pot holders and fly swats.
