It was a little difficult to set, the directions weren't helpful, but, for the money, it is well worth it. It serves its purpose well and helped me gauge cylinders on an aircraft engine I rebuilt to put on an airboat.

When I recieved this bore guage, the small revolution needle was stuck on 2. No biggie bc I was measuring cylinder bores. It seemed to be consistent but not accurate enough to make decisions on cylinders from a late model engine with tolerances of .0005. For early engines that can tolerate. 001 variation, itll get you by. Depending on your needs, it may be sufficient for a one-time tool. I ended up returning it for a more accurate tool but with accuracy comes a steep price hike. Seemed to be well made and is worth the price.

I wish it was a one piece deal. I have to replace extenders for every new measurement. I will get used to it.
